Songs of the Spectrum...Several new recordings have been added to the Songs of the Spectrum (autism awareness) collection:
In the past few months, Richard Julian recorded “Diagnosis, ” Kelly Flint (from Dave’s True Story), Ollabelle recorded “One Went Missing,” Teddy Geiger is going to sing “Afriad.” adding to the songs already recorded by Jackson Browne, Valerie Carter, Dar Williams, Jonatha Brooke, Dan Bern and Mike Viola! Here's a photo of .Jackson Browne and Valerie Carter in the studio right after recording a beautiful duet perfomance of "Day After Day"!.

The long-awaited and much discussed Cucumbers faves and oddities compilation (to be titled "Seeds & Rinds" or "14 Carrots") is slated for release in '09...to include the Fake Doom releases (the original My Boyfriend) and unreleased tracks....

ELVIS lives on.... check out a video of the Cucumbers version of "All Shook Up" which aired on mtv's 120 minutes show in the 80's is on youtube! (This video was made by a wonderful and imaginative director, Ily Huemer, who's next project was the feature film "Kiss Daddy Goodnight" starring Uma Thurman, in one of her first roles!)

2004 Cucumbers release “All Things To You”available from Fictitious Records out of Nashville, TN! (and itunes).

200 Cadillacs
Cucumbers’ song “Blue Cadillac” is featured in the film and soundtrack CD, “200 Cadillacs” a documentary exploring the generosity of Elvis Presley, released January 2004, by Image Entertainment. Also included is a reissue of the Cucumbers minor-key cover version of “All Shook Up.”

Songs on tv…. “Monster Mechanic” in 2 episodes of DSC-TV’s “Monster Garage,” and included in Monster Garage 2 soundtrack compilation cd, and “Indivislble” was featured on NBC’s “Ed.”
Cucumbers' song “Illegal” included on Protest Records (founded by Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth) antiwar compilation.

More movies! Watch for Hollywood indie feature “Yard Sale,” an unreleased Cucumbers song from 1987 (yikes!) “Do It Yourself” is featured in the film! "Look Out You" from "All Things To You" is in "Arc"debuted at the Asheville Film Festival.

Cucumbers' recording of “Auld Lang Syne” is included on “Ho Ho Ho Spice” Volunteer Records holiday rock compilation 2002.

Cucumbers’ song “Bend Me Like A Willow” will be included in a film about the American novelist Carson McCullers, now in production.

Deena’s “Test Drive” (w/ D. Graham) is featured in "Cathouse 3" a documentary on HBO and also in the British film “About Betrayal.”“Don't You Love to Climb” (also w/ D. Graham) is featured under the closing credits in"Moment of Crux" a documentary about rock climbing.“Over the Moon” Deena’s original rock and roll group for children with Alice Genese (TV3, Sexpod, Candy Ass) and Frank Gianinni (The Bongos) soon to be reissued on cd.
