This page gives the latest
information available about the 2008 Greenbelt Labor Day Parade, which will be
held on Labor Day, September 1, 2008. Parade participants are encouraged to
check this page for their position in the parade. Adjustments in parade order
and entrants may be made up through the day before the parade, so be sure to
check this list late the evening before or even early in the morning prior to
the parade.
NOTE: The rule limiting the
number of motor vehicles that a parade participant can utilize in the parade
will be strictly enforced. Politicians are strictly limited to no more than one
motor vehicle per entrant (except by special arrangement with the parade
organizers for security requirements). Other entrants are also limited to no
more than one motor vehicle except for cases in which vehicles are the featured
item (e.g., floats, antique cars and other specialty cars, police and fire
departments, etc.) and special entrants such as Miss Greenbelt.
The parade starts promptly at
10am. Please be in position no later than 9:30am. You may arrive as early as
8:00am - and are encouraged to line up between 8:00am and 9:00am.
You may park your car at
Buddy Attick park. However,
if the parking lot fills up, you will need to park in the neighborhoods up

there to your line up position.
