1.
Roy
looked out upon the sea of people sitting peacefully in lawn chairs, on blankets, in the grass and on tree branches, waiting
patiently for him to launch the day’s agenda. Gina was able to secure an additional five acres of open field to the
five they had booked over a year ago at Woodland State park in Montana, which should have comfortably accommodated the expected
crowd with plenty of room to spare.
But
as Roy scanned the crowded he was still amazed, three days into the gathering that it was standing room only. There actually seemed to be twice as many people in attendance than there was at the opening ceremony and
Gina had estimated that over 2 million had originally showed up.
Although
only 9:30 in the morning the hot August sun was already beating hard on the open meadow, and Roy knew he had only a few hours
before it was going to get uncomfortable. So he hurried up and took the microphone
to address the crowd.
“Good
Morning everyone. I hope everyone is enjoying themselves.” He paused for a minute as the masses applauded in acknowledgement.
“Well,
today we have something very special planned. Let’s call it a field trip.”
He paused again for a second to wipe off the sweat that was starting to build on his forehead “And for those of you
who are starting to worry about how hot it is going to get today, I can assure you that the place we will be going will be
nice and cool.”
Again
the crowd erupted in a mixture of applause and murmur as they curiously asked each other if they knew what he was talking
about.
“But
first I want to take part of the morning to both recap what we Julia Chen and Patti McKenna discussed over the past few days
and more importantly talk a little about what Father John Bramson was originally
scheduled to share with you today.
As
many of you know, Father John, was taken tragically from us, along with hundreds of thousands of other poor souls, during
the Great Quake last week. He was attending the World Religion forum in San Francisco
the night of the quake, despite his premonition that something tragic was going to occur, because he felt, sharing his thoughts
with the heads of today’s most popular religions was more important than life itself.”
He
paused a moment to collect his thoughts and then said “How many of you here today have heard of Father John’s
Book ‘I am God’. Please stand up if you have.”
He
scanned the audience to his amazement that almost 90% of the people flooded over the four adjoining fields were standing.
“Great. Now how many of you have read it? Please
have a seat if you have not. Those of you who have please remain standing.”
To
this over half of those standing took a seat. Again the crowd erupted in a burble
as they reflected on how amazing it was that millions of people have heard of his book, yet have not read it. Roy smiled, and stepped back up to the microphone speaking over the scamper.
“Thank
you, you may all take a seat. It does not surprise me that over half of you who
stood had heard of Father John’s book, but have not read it. In addition
to topping every best sellers list for over 72 weeks straight, his book has caused quite the uproar in many of the religious
circles, which in turn has spurred a bit of a media circus over the past few months, as many religious leaders worried about
its popularity have deemed it as blasphemy – the work of the devil himself.
I
think a lot of this had come from people who had not read the book, but reacted solely from the controversial title. I think one person even compared his book to Mien Kauf, or John to Hitler or something
ludicrous like that, stating that anyone who comes out and claims they are god should be shot and killed before they start
the next Holocaust.
For
those of you who have read the book, you know nothing could be further from the truth. John was not claiming to be God himself,
but that everybody is a part of God. Whether your Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist,
or Islamic, the only thing John was saying is look at the bigger picture. You
don’t have to abandon the rituals or worshiping Jesus, or Buddha or whomever the religion is based on, but don’t
get so lost in the rituals and worshipping of the man, who brought the message of God, that you loose focus on connecting
with god. For if everyone is connected with God, than everyone is God.
Now,
I also know that there are many of you out there, who have read his book and still don’t understand or even buy his
concept of God. Most of you who believe in God, probably believe that he is a
being capable of thinking and doing everything a man can do. Me I never thought of God as an old man with a long white beard,
sitting on a throne looking over the world. I always followed the Star Wars theory,
that God is some kind of force that you can tap into and ask for guidance, like a Jedi Knight, but I never truly comprehended
what it meant outside of the concept. Until, John gave me an analogy, one night
that seemed to sum it up so clearly, you could say that a light went off in my head.”
Roy cracked a smiled, but most of the audience just stared at him, not understanding the pun.
“You
see, he told me to imagine the world or even the universe as a giant house, and all the living creatures in the universe are
the conduit wiring that carries the electricity throughout that house. God, hence, is the electricity that flows through that
wiring, through us. Our thoughts, ideas and actions are the Light bulbs, blenders,
TV sets, that require our energy. The more energy we allow to flow through us,
the brighter our light bulbs burn. He went on to tell me that God is not a thinking
person who decides to turn on a set of lights, but is a continual energy source available for anyone who wants to tap in and
use the power. Problem is that most people only tap in occasionally when they
need something. And even then they are only burning at under 5 Watts when they
could be burning a thousand times brighter. Now here’s where it gets a
little tricky” he paused again to collect his thoughts for a moment, and continued.
“Since
we supply the thoughts and ideas, to this energy source, we in effect control they type of energy we are tapping into. If we are tapped into the source but thinking negative thoughts, we will produce negative
actions. And like wise if we are tapped in and thinking of greatness, great things
will happen. Yes folks, the theory is that God is not a Loving God, or a Just
God or a Cruel God or what ever you wish to call him, because of what is happening in your life. He is just God, and all those happenings are the energy you are projecting from your loving, just or cruel
self.”
“Now
in this gigantic house there are millions of main cable that run to a central breaker.
Each of the wires spit into a different section of the house. So in effect
thousands or millions of people may be sharing the same main power supply that lights, say the kitchen, Dining Room and Living
Room. While they may be just one outlet or light fixture in one room in the house,
they are all connected to the same main wiring. So if one bad outlet is producing
negative energy, everyone off of that wire will be getting negative energy when they tap into it. This is what is John called Group Projection, and I’m sure you all have experienced at one point
in your life, where you had a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach that something bad was going to happen and the next
day you pick up the paper and there it is.
Group
Projection can also work in positive ways, which I am going to show to you in a few moments, but first I just want to reiterate
what Patti had explained yesterday. That
this gathering is not about promoting our thoughts and ideas for profit, we are not about a new religion and by no means are
we any kind of cult. I hope everybody is here today is on their own free will,
to share some ideas and hopefully grow a little bit spiritually, mentally and intuitively.”
“I
say this now, because what I am about to show you is going to blow your mind. To
cope with it most of you will rationalize it as A. I am a magician or Hypnotist and everything you are about to witness is
an illusion, B. this is a cult gathering and we drugged you to secretly convert you over to our ways, or C. I am really God. Not just a part of God but the Thinking God, most of you base your religion on.”
“Now
I don’t really care if you need to cope by thinking either A or B may be the case, but please don’t put me on
a pedestal above all of you and think that I am some omnipotent being. For what
I am about to show you, I plan on teaching all of you to do.”
Roy
stepped back, closed his eyes and imagined what he was about to create. After
a moment he spoke to the crowd again.
“Now
I need everyone to connect together, like Patti showed you yesterday. We all
need to be on the same wavelength so to say.”
He
waited again until he could feel the energy flowing. “That’s great”
he continued “Can you all feel it”. Many in the crowd nodded in acknowledgment.
“When
I was younger” Roy said as he lifted his hand “I always was amazed by the song America the Beautiful. The imagery in the lyrics is so strong that every time I heard it I seemed to be transported
to the very place that was being sung about.”
On
cue Julia sang “For Purple Mountains Majesty above the fruited plains” As Roy waved his hand from left to right
across the crowd. A murmur erupted amongst the audience, as some turned around
to marvel that they were now sitting in a valley surrounded by the highest and most beautiful, snow covered purple mountains
they had ever seen. Others jumped up in excitement and ran to one of the hundreds
of new apple, orange, pear and yes even banana tress that now shaded the once open field. They picked the fruit like children
opening Christmas presents, as Patti and Roy joined Julia who was now humming the melody.
“For
what is this world, but a training ground for all of us to learn from, but more importantly enjoy. So if you sitting in the open sun, and need some shade why not image a big old tree behind you. And if that’s not enough to cool you off on this sweltering day, why not image a little snow.”
The
energy grew even stronger, as those who trying to figure out how he made trees and mountains seem to appear out of thin air,
watched as millions big puffy wet snow flakes floated playfully to the ground, on one of the hottest days in the last decade.
“You
can create what ever you can imagine. Tired of the Blue Sky. Why not have Pink.” He waved his hand again and the
sky turned to a bright fuchsia. “With a big fat Marshmallow Moon.”
“Marshmallow
Moon?’ A voice echoed from behind Royer. “Now, now boy, let’s not get carried away.”
Julia,
almost knocked Roy over, as he turned around in anticipation to see her lunge and wrap her arms around the waist of a long
lost friend, who was standing regally behind him with five other disorientated gentleman.
“Friends,
it is my pleasure to introduce to you the one and only Father John.” Roy said proudly, choking back the tears of happiness
that were knotting in his throat.
Millions
stood to applaud, as the man they came to see, the man they all assumed to be dead, stood before them, waving off their adulations.
“Please,
please. I am truly flattered. “He said. “The man to my right was
about to turn the moon into a giant Marshmallow and you applaud me instead.”
The
crowd exploded in a fit of nervous laughter as they tried to cope with the amazing events they just witnessed.
2.
“Hello,
this is Gina.”
“Hey,
you.”
“Hector?”
Gina asked through the slight static on her cell, as she walked down the stairs to a quieter area backstage.
“Yeah,
how’s the conference going?”
“Unbelievable,
couldn’t have planned for a better 3 days, but more importantly since John arrived there’s been a new energy that
is making the workshop better than we ever could have imagined.” She answered.
“John
who” Hector asked with a quiver in his voice.
“Oh
Hector, I thought you knew and that’s why you were calling in. Patti said
she left you the message on your cell.”
“Sorry
Kid, didn’t pick up my messages today. Now do you want to fill me in on
what you’re so excited about?”
“Father
John is Alive” she screamed ecstatically.
“He’s
alive” Hector echoed.
“Yes
appeared right out of thin air as Roy was doing the demonstration, along with four other religious leaders. They spent the rest of the day segmenting the masses into various religious circles and taking turns preaching
John’s philosophy in their own words and how it relates to their thoughts and beliefs.”
“So
where’s the bastard been hiding for the past 2 weeks while we were worried sick and grieving.” Hector asked.
“He
told the crowd that the five of them were plucked from the earthquake and transported to Aruba, or the future or something. To be honest, I was so stunned to see him, I could hardly concentrate on what he was
saying and he’s been busy preaching ever since. I hope to sit down with
him later tonight. So, any who, if you weren’t calling to find out about
John, to what do we owe the honor.”
“No
biggie. Just calling to let you know I’m heading up.”
“Hector,
you know you’re more than welcome, but we all still feel it’s in everyone’s best interest that we still
keep quiet about everything for the time being.” Gina urged diplomatically.
“Well
there have been some developments and we need to readdress the concerns because it’s now or never. If the world doesn’t learn about it from us, they’re going to find out about it from personal
experience shortly.”
“What
are you talking about?” She asked nervously.
“I’ll
fill you in when I get there.”
“Fine,
I’ll make sure everyone’s available. What time are you coming in?”
“Within
the hour. See you soon”
“Yeah,
see you soon” She said as she hung up
3.
Roy
Stepped back from the huge rock ledge that over looked a sea of people fifty feet below, sitting calmly on the grassy fields. He grabbed Gina, who had entered from the cave behind him, by the hand and brought
her back to the ledge. He felt like Simba or Mufasa from the Lion King
standing proudly on that ledge as he held up her hand and introduced her to the crowd, laughing at the irony. For after all, that scene from the Lion King was the inspiration from which he dream painted his current
setting.
“To
what do we owe the pleasure?” He whispered to Gina as should stood there soaking in the applause of the crowd who enthusiastically
greeted their meeting coordinator.
“We
have a surprise speaker, who decided to join us.” She replied, nodding her head back toward the cave.
A
shiver ran down Roy’s back as he looked into the cave to see Hector pacing nervously back and forth.
“Gina,
I thought we all discussed this and were in agreement, that the timings not right.”
“I
know” she replied, “but he said that something’s come up and just wants to bring it to the table. John, Patti and Julia will be joining us as soon as the wrap up with their groups.”
Roy
nodded and turned back to the thousands of patient on lookers who were waiting in anticipation to see what was going on. He than looked at the giant fiery orange ball that was setting slowly over the African
horizon and addressed the crowd.
“Folks,
looks like its getting late and it’s been a long day for all of you. So,
if you’ll excuse us, we have a surprise visitor who has joined us that we need to meet with for a little while.” He motioned to Hector to come forward. “Ladies
and Gentleman, it is my pleasure to introduce to you, Dr. Hector Rodriquez. Dr.
Rodriquez is the 5th member of our little group, and is working very closely on issues of the physical realm.”
He
paused as the crowd applauded for the new guest, and then continued.
“I
know the conference was scheduled to end tomorrow, but for those of you whom would like to stick around for a few more days
to explore what you have learned today in further detail are more than welcome to stay.
For those of you who need to get back home, we will be continuing to expand on these lessons, through Patti’s
web site, and quarterly retreats. I’ll explain more in tomorrow’s
closing ceremonies, but in the mean time please feel free to continue to practice amongst yourselves or just enjoy the rest
of the night in free time or contemplation.”
“Now
if you’ll excuse us, Gina and I have much catching up to do with our old friend.” He waved his hand across the
see of people and they seemed to disappear into the new twilight.
He
than turned back to Hector gave him a big hug and said “Good to see you my friend.”
4.
Roy
stoked the fire, and looked up at the stars nervously, expecting to see them disappear slowly in a sea of blackness. For besides the age of the participants, this was no Déjà vu, it was the exact image
of the vision they had witnessed at Poppy’s house four years ago. The same
vision they had all dreamed about.
Royer
felt like he was still dreaming, as he watched Gina shake her head from the log by the fire as Hector adamantly tried to convince
the others in the group to let him speak in the next day’s closing ceremonies.
From
the dream, and even the group discussions leading up to the conference, Roy knew he was Hectors biggest obstacle vehemently
opposing Hector from even showing up to the event. But something deep down felt
different today. Something had changed.
He motioned for Patti to join him in the cave, while John, Gina and Hector
continued to discuss their thoughts.
“No,
I agree with you” Patti said in a low voice as soon as they were in the cave.
“I
hate when you do that.” Roy answered “I haven’t even told you what’s on my mind.”
“No
need too, I could feel your energy shift as soon as Hector said we’re looking no more a year to 15 months before the
military unleashes the power behind his findings.
“Except. I think I’m torn on what to do. If
we tell all those people tomorrow that the doom is coming, they will be counting on it, and trigger it through mass anticipation,
as soon as news leaks out that it is out there, whether the time is right or not.”
“And
if you do we prohibit ourselves from stopping it by trying to handle it ourselves with such a small group and not relying
on the help of millions of others?” Patti finished.
“Exactly.”
“Well
what do you feel deep in your heart, Roy?”
“That’s
just it, Patti. Logically, I think we keep it to ourselves, but intuitively,
I think it is our duty, no, our fate to inform the masses, immediately,”
“Well
you know I always take Intuition over logic” Patti replied.
“I
know, and you taught me to do the same, but I need you to tell me if
you have the same feelings or if I am just logically forcing an intuitive feeling because
I feel that if I oppose Hector like I did in the visions, the out come will be the same?”`
“Yes
and No.” she answered.
“Meaning?”
“Meaning,
that I have an overwhelming feeling that if we inform the public, we will uncertainly start the chain reaction that we saw
in the vision.”
“So
you feeling is we should hide it from everyone until the timing is right.”
“No,
my intuition is telling me that we must tell them and tell them right away.” Patti said begrudgingly.
“But
didn’t you just say that will cause it to all come true?” Roy demanded.
“Yes,
and I see your dilemma if our mission was to stop this from happening. But it is our sorry fate to initiate the inevitable.”
“What
are you talking about?” Roy barked angrily.
“We
are not here to stop it from happening, Roy. We are here to prepare the world
for it and hopefully take all those that are ready and even some of those who are not but willing to accept what we are teaching
to a new and better place.”
5.
“What’s
the matter on baby?” Gina whispered to Roy who was squatting in the corner of the cave with his face buried in his hands. Patti was leaning on the far wall staring out into space, while John and Hector continued
their discussion peacefully outside.
Roy
remained quiet for a few more minutes, and then looked up at Gina and asked “What do you recall about what your Grandfather
was discussing about what he called the Cosmic Blip or Great Mishap or something.”
“He
said that it will erase all physical worlds that have been created to help people learn the 5 senses. And that we are to teach people to live a conscious life so they can move on and create new worlds before
this thing happens.”
“And
did he give any indication that this thing could or should be stopped?” Roy asked.
Now
Gina turned white as a ghost, and started pacing back and forth. “No, now
that I think about it I believe he was trying to say that it already occurred and could not be fixed, and possibly that we
as a group had tried that and made it worse, or something along those lines.”
“And
to try to stop it again would be futile if not more damaging.” Roy inquired.
Gina
did not answer.
“And
if we try to stop it again, the damages could be even worse!” Roy grilled on.
“Yes!”
Gina cried back
“Is
there any chance he could be wrong and we could stop this thing.” Roy asked, much more soothing..
“I
don’t know.”
“What
do you feel?”
“I
guess I always felt it was long shot, but my God, we have to try. Think of all
those people, Roy.” She answered.
“But
he said our mission was to teach them to learn how to create their own worlds, so they can move on.”
“Yes
but there are over 8 billions souls in this world, and say we could reach over
half of them, which would take a thousand life times, that’s still over 4 billion that would be lost.” Gina answered
through watery eyes.
“And
we don’t have a thousand life times.” Roy answered.
“According
to Hector, maybe less than a year.”
“And
why do you think that the visions and dreams were showing us that we had at least 5 to 10 years before this happened, and
now we’re looking at less than a year.”
“Probably
because we tried to stop Hector from developing the damn thing, in the first place.”
Gina said gratingly.
“So
if the visions had us discussing this whole thing, here by the fire before it happened years from now and here we are discussing
it by the same fire, now, it is probably safe to assume that the thing has been triggered already and unstoppable, and we
need to pick up the pace and start recruiting and training as many evangelists as we can to reach as many as we can in the
short period that we have.” Roy surmised.
“But
still that would take a full time job of a million evangelists, each convincing a million followers how to connect. Even if by some miracle we could get half of people gathered here today to give up everything they know
and love, to first learn the secrets we have to teach and then spend the rest of their lives or what’s left of them
here, to go 24/7 preaching and teaching to as many as they can., We will still be a far way from reaching everyone.”
“Again,
I don’t know if that is our mission, Gina. There is a reason this is happening. And maybe it is some nature selection process and we’re not supposed to take
8 billion with us. Maybe it’s only 8million, or 8 thousand or something.
But what ever it is, its time to stop pussy footing around and slowly letting people absorb these secrets at their own pace. Maybe we should show them what will happen in the very near future.” Roy concluded.
“Fine,
let’s go tell the others and figure out our plan of attack, before we let everyone go tomorrow” Patti said as
she helped Gina to her feet and headed out toward the fire.
6.
Roy used his left forearm to
shield his eyes from the gale gusts of wind swirling erratically beneath the two F15 Tomcats hovering directly overhead. He directed the first to point its hose toward the building to the left of them and
the second to aim to the majestic tower behind him.
The huge mass of people that
blanketed the streets below him watched nervously as he teetered dangerously along the edge of the Chrysler Building 60 plus
stories above them. Although from that distance he looked like a spec pacing
nervously back and forth along the ledge, Jenny Cummings could hear him clear as day, as if she recorded his speech on her
ipod and was listening back through her brothers AKG headphones.
Convincing her father to take
her to the retreat was not a problem. She knew he was obsessed with Father
John’s teachings ever since he picked up his book six months after her mother had passed. She was happy that he had found something to bring some hope back to his shattered life, but knew he wouldn’t dare abandon her and her brother for a week, while he went out on a soul
finding mission. So she laid the guilt trip on thick when they missed Julia’s
performance at Carnegie last month and told him he owed it to her to go to the retreat to mourn Father John and let her see
her favorite singer.
In a way he was relieved. Not only would he get to go to find some answers but he would get to spend some quality
time with his favorite six year old. Jimmy was more than happy to spend the week
down the Jersey Shore where his best friend, Pat, was vacationing with his family. After
all what did 16 year old boys like to do better than sitting on the boardwalk kicking back some slices while watching the
bikini clad young ladies walk by.
But as with all the best laid
plans, this one was not going as smooth as expected. As the extraordinary
events unfolded over the past three days, Jenny’s father seemed to be retreating back into his shell. She was not sure if it was the shock of everything happening all at once or something else. She had dared not tell him about the terrible nightmares she had been having about the end of the
world and the sea of blackness, but was now convinced she needed to, because she knew they were not just dreams but omens
of events to come.
Sitting on her father’s
shoulders, here in the middle of Lexington Avenue, four blocks from his office, with hundreds of thousands of other spectators
who were with them two thousand miles away just a few minutes ago, seemed too weird to be real, yet to real to be a dream. One minute they were sitting on a green pasture listening to the 5th member
of Roy’s group, Hector Rodriguez, discuss a formula he invented that made things disappear, and the next they were magically
transported to her home town where Roy was going to demonstrate what was going to happen with this formula.
She looked at the brass awning
of 475 Lexington Avenue and was amazed that it was worn out in the exact same way she had noticed every time she passed it,
yet she knew that this wasn’t real. Outside of the people they were
traveling with there was nobody else here. She knew that if this was real there
would have to be other people here, after all she had never been on this street without another soul around, and so it had
to be one of Roy’s dream paintings. But how could he know about the smudge
on the brass awning?
And what was her part in all
of this? She was not a member of the group.
They had clearly outlined only five senses. Julia was emotion, Patti,
intuition. Hector was physical, John, Spiritual and Roy, mental. But she felt a strong connection as if she was part of them and the reason she was standing here in this
dream world was no coincidence. It was meant to be and she had something to do
with it.
On Roy’s command, the
first F15 started to spray a clear brownish liquid on the building directly next to him.
The crowd let out a gasp as the building slowly disappeared in front of their eyes, as the liquid leisurely slid down
the steel structure.
Before they had a chance comprehend fully
what was happening, Roy directed the second chopper to spray the Chrysler building.
In minutes the building was completely gone, with Roy and the others apparently suspend in mid air a quarter mile above
them.
Some of the braver or more curious spectators walked up to where the building was once standing and reached out. Jenny thought they looked like a troupe of mimes practicing the trapped in a box
routine as they ran their hands smoothly along an invisible plane.
“Its still there, just invisible” Jenny said excitedly to her father.
He just stood there staring straight ahead, mesmerized by the experiment.
“As you can see, what my formula does is paint any solid material invisible.
To many of you, who have now begun to waken up to the true magic the world, this may not seem that impressive. After all it must seem like a child’s card trick, compared to the truly miraculous
journeys Mr. Brown has taken you on over the past couple of days.” Hector
said, as loud and clear as Roy had been speaking from up above. “But all
or you are an elite and miniscule group of the total population, meaning that each and everyone of you were ready to experience
the next steps in spiritual and intuitive awareness, and eager to easily to accept the teachings and lessons of those who
wish to lead you to a new horizon. The majority of people however are locked
into their preconceptions. Taking what they know as the only fact to what there
is, instead considering it as a starting block to learn and expand from.”
“When I chose this life, it was my job to put some scientific proof in place for everyone to clearly see that
there is more to the physical world than people can see. The most obvious way
to do this is to show them this is to make what they can see invisible, as evident in this little experiment.”
He paused and looked at Roy,
who nodded in encouragement for him to continue as planned.
“However, unforeseen
by me or anyone in this group was a higher plan for me to be the one to force people to move on or be left behind. You see, my experiment in physical reality has a detrimental side effect.
The destruction of all preconceived reality. If you have not learned
how to harvest the energy from the emotional, intuitive, spiritual, intellectual or physical worlds and create your own unique
world from them, they will be taken away leaving you with nothing.”
On cue, Roy lifted his right
hand and waved it at the heavens above. Within minutes the, overcast New York
sky drifted from a light gray to total blackness, as the dream world they were in started to rip apart.
As darkness engulfed the masses, a wave of panic unlike any Jenny had ever experienced in her short life spread rampidly though the life pulse of all that were present.
She remained calm, though, as she was violently ripped from her father’s shoulders and tumbled aimlessly through
a sea of blackness. For there beside her was a very familiar presence, that brought
peace and serenity.
“Don’t be afraid, Jenny.” It said soothingly.
“Mama?” Jenny blurted excitedly.
“Yes, baby, it’s me.”
“What’s happening, where are we.” Jenny asked curiously.
“Where ever you want to be.” She answered.
“What do you mean?”
“Just picture yourself any place you want to be and you will be there.” She answered and with that she
was gone.
“Mama?” Jenny cried. “Mama, where are you.”
