At JKFarm, you can watch nature from your deck, or embrace it with walks around the farm.
There are a variety of eco-systems present on the farm that support diverse plant and animal life.
Over 40 years ago the property benefited from a local boy scout troop's pine tree planting project. Today
roughly half of the 70 acres of forest land consists of mature stands of white pine and scotch pine that
provide year-round cover for a variety of wild life. The remainder of the forest land was timbered
in the late 1990s. The dense hardwood re-growth (poplar, maple, oak, and ash) adds to the wildlife cover
and food sources supporting deer, turkey, dove, grouse, pheasant, rabbit, and others.

The pond, and 5 acres of marsh, attract heron, migrating ducks, geese, and an occasional
kingfisher; they all try their luck at catching blue-gill, bass and catfish.

Twelve angus-cross heifers are the start of the grass-fed and grass-finished beef herd.
The spring of 2009 will be their first calving. It will be exciting!

The "J" at JKFarm is Jeff Graham. Jeff, a third generation farmer, has spent a lot of time in the city too, which is probably why he so treasures the privacy of JKFarm. When you visit, you'll get to just stop, unwind and appreciate the surroundings. Jeff jokes about recent visitors who'd been driving for hours. They arrived harried and worn out, only to be totally refreshed a half hour later - no doubt because of JKFarm's deep serenity.
The "K" at JKFarm is Karen Graham. For twenty-five years, she's been a professional at a top international hotelier. Karen expects that when you're traveling you're as discerning as she is. At JKFarm you'll experience gracious service, in a fresh and relaxing - not to mention reasonably priced - environment.
