Celebrity Cruises Horizon,  Zenith, and Millennium
When Chandris decided to enter the upscale cruise market in the ealy 90's
they rebuilt the Gallileo, renaming her Meridian, and they ordered
2 new ships: Horizon and Zenith. 46,811 gross tons, 689 capacity, a maximum passenger
capacity of 1,800 as many cabins can sleep 3 or 4, but usually carries in the range of 1300 people.
These were among the last new builds before the veranda era, and they are sized to fit into the harbors of Bermuda. In 1993 Bob and I sailed to Bermuda from NY on the Horizon. In 2003 my friend Doug and I sailed Zenith to Bermuda, and in 2006 Bob and I joined some friends on the Zenith for a five night cruise out of Miami.

In 2001, 2002 and 2003 we sailed on the Millennium with the Pied Piper group. The site is running out of space so I'm placing a few shots of her on this page.
