ABOUT JENNA My experiences have brought me to the Fitness Profession.
I started off as a participant of fitness classes and training in the weight room, and eventually realized a career
as a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor was a natural fit.
In my youth, I practiced gymnastics for many
years. I then took on other individual sports such as skiing and cycling. Being a competitive person, I
have always found to be challenged most with myself as opponent. This really came true as I began competing in Natural Bodybuilding.
After four years of training and my third show, I achieved the 1st Place Title and The Best Poser in the Women's Open Division
of the ANBC 2000 Yankee Classic Bodybuilding Show. Cross training in my exercise program helped me to achieve
this.
My experiences reflect my theory of exercise. A consistent exercise routine is a healthy outlet
that releases the stresses and frustrations of life. Bodybuilding taught me focus and balance. A strong exercise routine
must include focus in cardiovascular with strength training and a healthy nutritional balance in diet. Every individual
is created differently, therefore reacts differently. I assess these needs with each client's program.
As
I enjoy achieving these goals for myself, I translate that acheivement externally when I lead my clients to achieving their
fitness goals. Being a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor has allowed me to do this. I teach
various classes such as Spin, RPM, Weight Training, Bootcamp, and Sport Conditioning. I work with a diverse clientele.
I am a firm believer in cross training with the basics. Weights and cardio should be in everyone's core exercise program.
Outside of the gym, I enjoy running, cycling, cooking, photography, and
following the Red Sox and Patriots.
