When Nicky was born in 2001 and diagnosed as having Down Syndrome, we found the family websites
about DS to be extremely informative and comforting. This page is created with the hope that it can also be helpful
to families of new babies. The Nicholas diary, which I started shortly after his birth, reflects some anxiety
on our part about the complicated task we saw in our future. But what we experienced was much less intimidating
