I decided I wanted my 4x1 pickup truck to handle, or at least corner, a little better so I decided to add a rear anti-sway bar (my XE didn't come with one from the factory) and replace the factory rubber bushings and end-links with polyurethane.
 
I purchased an Energy Suspensions kit from Courtesy Nissan Parts and started the install.  All of the nuts and bolts for the front sway bar are listed as between 16-22 lb-ft.
 
The bushings were easy.  The bolts came out no problem and the new, freshly greased (with Energy Suspensions special grease -- included in the kit) polyurethane bushings slid onto the bar (they are cut so they can slide over the bar -- sliding them from the ends would be impossible I think because of the bends in the sway bar) and I tightened them down after applying thread-loc to the bolts.
 
The end links were another story.  I have no idea what happened at the Nissan factory that day, but the lower nuts on both end links seemed to be permanently attached to the end links.  I tried a hammer on the end of the ratchet, I tried an impact wrench, and I even tried to cut the nuts off.  I finally gave up and took the truck to a shop where they had to torch off both nuts.  That was crazy!
 
The end result.  Well, I'm not sure I can say that I could notice an improvement; especially compared to the dramatic change the addition of a rear sway bar made, but I can say that the urethane bushing was much more substantial than the pitiful looking factory rubber bushing.  All-in-all, I believe it was money well spent.
