Advancement
Quellar Mithkaldaka is a meritocracy. Advancement is based on achievement and service.
Initiation into the C'rintri
A Frostalf begins their career in the House as a Shebali, learning all they must to become a contributing member. Assuming the Shebali joined the House at their first degree, by the 35th degree of their temple a Shebali should be ready for full initiation. This entails the C'rintri examination of letters. A Shebali repatriate may remain a Shebali until such time as the Baat'leb decides they are ready for their C'rintri Exam.
The C'rintri Examination
A member cannot remain a Shebali indefinitely. Upon your 35th degree, you must prepare for your examination and initiation. One may ask, why is there an exam? The reason is simple: Quality Assurance. Quellar Mithkaldaka guild exists to provide its members with an immersive fantasy/roleplay experience. As such, it is vital that all members be on the same page where our themes, traditions, values and behaviours are concerned. It is the responsibility of each and every member as well as the leadership to be able to provide that experience for the membership at large. In short, QM is what we make of it. For it to be a fun-filled, interesting, and creative experience with depth and dimension, we have to work to make it so.
What does the examination entail?
It is a test of your knowledge of Frostalf culture, language and the workings of the House. Upon successfully passing the examination, the examinees return to the House Compound for the initiation ceremony.
What if I don't pass?
Try again. One of the lessons to be learned from your time in the House is that we do not give up.
When do the examinations take place?
There are C'rintri Examinations every Dark Moon Eve to symbolize the Shebali's passage into the Light of the House. Special times may be arranged with the Baat'leb if a Shebali is unavailable on a Dark Moon Eve.
How do I prepare for the examination?
Start here, with the Web Guide. All you need to know is contained here.
Where do the examinations take place?
At the compound. The specifics of the date and time are announced
How long does it take?
15 minutes at most. But that is mostly reliant on punctuality. So, don't be late! After the initiation ceremony, there will be a celebratory raid.
Must I take the examination on each of my QM characters?
Yes. We regard each of your characters as unique individuals. Each must take their test, however a member who already has passed the exam with one character receives an abridged version with their following characters.
Initiation into the Noble Houses
You've been enjoying your role as a C'rintri, but you want to do more. You want to become more involved in the inner workings of the House and take a more active role in House activities. Consider applying to one of the Noble Houses. Houses Nimh, Zavril, Delentsk and Greywolf all have their own traditions and criteria for membership in their clans. So if you'd like to learn more, get involved! The Noble Houses all share a voice in the administration of the guild. Make your voice heard.
