On Crafting - Guidelines for House Delentsk and The Mortathen
A Mortath is a crafter. The best way to contact the Mortathen with crafting requests is to use the forums The maximum quality for players 45+ is 99% and the maximum requested quality for below 45 is 98%. Of course you may be fortunate and get that odd masterpiece item at 45+ and you will often get an item above 98% under level 45. Be it known that what the Mortathen craft for you is much to the discretion of House Delentsk. The Mortath has the right to make substitute recipes if less expensive items meet or exceed the item you are requesting. For example, a Mortath may elect to make you a set of arcanium pansarkedja chain (AF 90) which is cheaper then netherium starkakedja chain (AF 88) for a level 40.
Requests for masterpiece items are naut'shinder! (Forbidden) If they happen along the way, great, enjoy them! The resources and time required to purposely create a masterpiece can quickly spiral out of control. Masterpiece requests often place a unacceptable burden on our resources and cultivates carpal tunnel syndrom in our Mortathen.
Requesting Crafted Items
Occasionally House Delentsk has specially designated crafting events or crafting nights where they take orders and take time to fill orders placed. Apart from these special events, requests for crafted items should be made on the House Delentsk forums. When placing your requests be sure to be as specific and detailed as possible, e.g. When placing a spellcrafting request, it should include not only the list of gems, but quantities and recipes. Spellcrafting is tedious and a large order will be done faster with detailed recipes. A LOKI report would be ideal. Remember, also, that the Mortathen are taking time out of their busy schedules to craft at no cost to the individual member, but to the House as a whole. So take care to be as accomodating of their schedule as possible when arranging for crafting appointments. When the Mortath announces that they are available to fill your order, it is the general member who should drop what they're doing to accomodate the Mortath.
Path of the Mortath
Crafting is open to any member of Quellar Mithkaldaka, however they must be members of House Delentsk. Only Ka'lum Delentsk and members of the Baat'leb are permitted to employ the /webdisplay trade function or receive House funds. If you are interested in crafting for the House you should contact a member of House Delentsk inquire about their initiation rites, and the sooner the better. Once you have committed yourself to House Delentsk the Path of the Mortath commences. To be inducted into Ka'lum Delentsk you must have at least 500 skill in your primary skill trade and pass the Mortath Examination.
Stipulations of House Delentsk
Your first duty is to Quellar Mithkaldaka. Requests from members of the House should be entertained first. You are allowed to craft for colnbluthen who are in good standing if you wish, but you must openly remain in character and make a healthy profit for the House. You may NOT craft for enemy guilds or traitors regardless of the profit margin. It is a good idea with colnbluthen to /send them an Out Of Character (OOC) message to clarify what services they are looking for. This will ensure you both understand the request and the price. Colnbluthen may not request masterpieces or goods that require limited House resources such as special drops. House member requests will always take priority over colnbluthen orders.
