Diets According to Body Type

Adrenal Type
Adrenal (A Type) body characteristics:
- Muscular development and Intramuscular water retention (Men = 5'8", Women = 5'3" - 5'7") Note: 85% of North American men are A Type.
- Hold salt and water in muscles making their tissue more heavy and dense
- Square body, round belly (takes lots of work to get it flat)
- Thin legs and small gluteals (flat butt)
- Square palm with tubular fingers, palm may be longer than fingers
- Rib angle approximately 45 degrees
- Good stamina, energy last all day
- Heal quickly as steroid hormones produce good immune system function
- Subject to more heart attacks than other types
- Stimulating foods: salt and grease

Gonadal Type

Gonadal (G type) body characteristics:
- Short with small bones (Men < or = 5'8", Women < or = 5'3")
- Smaller fleshy palms, fingers are longer than palm and taper toward fingertips
- Rib angle almost straight across
- Women tend to be curvy with large breasts and small waists. They have less PMS than other types but struggle with weight gain after menopause. Skin smooth and elastic due to increased estrogen.
- Men will be short and thin. They have increased body hair, heavier beard and tendency to bald. Their muscles will be softer and less defined than A Type.
- Stimulating foods: spicy and creamy foods

Putuitary Type

Anterior Putuitary (P Type) Body characteristics:
- Large and very tall with massive broad bones (Men > or = 6'10", Women > or = 6'2")
- Prominent brow and bony prominences
- Big hands with fingers longer than palms. Fingers (and often hand) taper from palm to fingertips. Fingers angle toward thumb.
- Legs are longer than upper body
- Rib angle is between that of T Type and A Type
- Women are larger below the navel than above and tend to be low in female hormones, which produces PMS symptoms.
- Stimulating food: milk (prolactin is what stimulates their growth)

Thyroid Type

Thyroid (T type) body characteristics:
- Lean and thin; little muscle bulk or fat; higher metabolic rate (Men > or = 6'1", Women > or = 5'7")
- Taller than average. Long thin bones. Long thin neck.
- Upper body is longer than legs.
- Long rib cage (no waist); steep rib angle
- Fine, nice hair; prolific eyebrows common
- Small white teeth
- Lots of health complaints; Nagging illnesses, headaches, depression lower energy, but live a long time
- Stimulating foods: Anything that raises blood sugar (Sugar, caffeine, alcohol)
- T Types do best to avoid chocolate, coffee and sugar
