Rubber is a recycled rubber raw material. It is produced through a
process in which cured scrap rubber from a controlled feedstock is
devulcanized, strained and further processed into a form that can be
introduced into rubber compounds as a partial substitute for virgin
raw materials. Since its inception, Curtis
TradeGroup has been a reliable supplier of reclaimed rubber. As a
result of our heavy emphasis on material quality and customer
service, we are North America's principal importing distributor of
this material. By 1996 our North American market share for imported
reclaim exceeded 50%, increasing to 62% in 2002. |
