My favorite quote is from Chapter 3 in Ecclesiastes.
It is:
1. To every thing there is a season, and a
time to every purpose under the heaven:
2. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck
up that which is planted;
3. A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4.
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5. A time to cast away stones, and a time
to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6. A time to seek, and a time
to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7. A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and
a time to speak;
8. A time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.

Here are some more timely quotes:
"Don't take away my overtime pay!" - let AFGE workers
continue to MILK THE OVERTIME COW!
"More nukes, less kooks!" -- "Nuke the anti-nuke kooks"
Subjects covered on this page include
the war againsts global Islamic Terror, and the Arab-Israeli Conflict - which is part of that war.
Like Bush-bashers, I also am opposed
to many of President Bush's policies, such as amnesty for illegal aliens, and his spending "like a drunken sailor" (to use
Monica Crowley's words). Still, to write that "he's the first un-elected president in over 100 years" -- is totally asinine, as well as irrelevant.
Our main concern
today is the global assault of Moslem Wahabi Terrorism, the jihadists -- not the above issues. They pale by comparison. (Check out JTF.org.)
And Bush is the ONLY candidate that has the "cojones" to deal with
this VITAL matter.
Kerry, Jewish or not, is as phony as a 3-dollar bill. He is worse than "McGuvna" McGovern.
So
what choice is there? Nader?
Please -- do not ANYBODY EVER send me any more anti-Bush rhetoric. You are best
off not publicizing your mental deficiencies.
As Michael Savage says: Liberalism, in its extremes, is not a political
philosophy -- it is a mental disorder. Truer words have never been said...
A friend of mine said that Muslims
extremists are either at your THROAT, or at your FEET.
With Bush, they'll be at our feet.
With Kerry, working
under the corrupt, effete, and anti-Semitic United Nations, they'll be at our throats.
The choice seems self-evident.
The discussion below is based
on an email exchange between "Eddie" and Yos'l: 12 August 2004
Eddie:
Yos'l, the only bitch that they (JTF.org) had about Kerry was that he stated back in January that he would appoint Jimmie
Carter and Jim Baker to negotiate a peace agreement between Israel and the Arabs. But
Kerry retracted that idea once the major Jewish organizations started to complain.
Yos'l: What assurances do you have, Eddie, that Kerry won't flip-flop again, and revert back to his idea of appointing
pinkos Carter and Baker? The very fact that he ever came out with such a preposterous statement
reveals his true inner extreme left-wing leanings -- which
he is now trying so desparately to hide from the American voter. Maybe Kerry can retract the statement,
but he cannot retract what issuing that statement revealed about who Kerry is, and where Kerry
is coming from...
Eddie: Also I (Eddie) totally agree with JTF.org, but
not about voting for Bush, who is a "Tum Vioma", he doesn't have a mind of his own because he is not an intellectual, he is
just a front man for Dick Cheney and Halliburton. That is a fact beyond any argument.
Yos'l:
Eddie, I am very disppointed in your reasoning power (or lack thereof). Even granted that Bush "doesn't have a mind of his own because he is not an intellectual," and that "he is just
a front man for Dick Cheney and Halliburton," I retort, "So what??! Is that bad???
Cheyney is a brilliant and capable man; Halliburton is a fine company that brings credit and pride to America."
As
I replied to another Bush-basher's email, "Who gives a damn who is in charge??!! All
I care about is what is the Foreign Policy." That is, Who
cares if Bush is acting under the influence and control of Cheyney. As long as what he actually does under Cheyney's alleged influence is good - which it
has indeed been for the most part (except for the disatrous Iraqi occupation)
- so then what does it really matter what are the underlying reasons for Bush's behavior???
Eddie: Iraq is one of the most disastrous displays of incompetence in the history of our
country!
Yos'l: You are right (IMHO) in this case. Right-wing radio talk-show
host Michael Savage said a few months ago that he is furious with some of President
Bush's policies. (See my article "Bush Bashing by Left-Wing Liberal Lester.") Michael Savage called Bush a "one-term president." Michael Savage said that
we have done a great job in Iraq, and that the time has come for us to GET
OUT - NOW. He says that Muslims have been been cutting each other's throats for thousands of years, and will continue to do so for thousands of years. Let's get out of there and leave them to their
pleasures.
See also the great article "Israel Backs Iraqi Kurds" which dicusses the very subject of how the USA has messed up the Iraq occupation,
despite repeated warning from Israeli Intelligence.
[But perhaps Bush cannot
act differently in Iraq, because the Military is under severe constraints imposed by
ultra-liberal "humane" congressmen -- like your Kerry
(ugh!), and by the biased liberal media. (One of these restraints led to the use of
prohibitively expensive "smart bombs"
instead of the much more effective, and infinitely
less costly "carpet bombs" - because smart bombs are more "humane.") Who knows how many American lives were lost due to this unwarranted "compassion???" See my article
When is Compassion Called For, and When NOT.]
Eddie: Although Bush is a "nice
guy' and does try his best to be a good president, but that's not good enough. You need a double-dealing, flip-flopper like
Kerry to be president today, so the terrorists won't know where he is coming from and where he is going.
Yos'l: You are making a fatal mistake, Eddie. Maybe you won't know where Kerry is coming from and where he is going because he is a "double-dealing
flip-flopper." But the Terrorists certainly do know.
This is because, unlike you, the Terrorists have enough brains
to be able to know where Kerry is coming from -- based on his past voting record!
The following comments about Kerry's past voting record is from an article in The Washington Post:"Kerry's latest thing is to tell audiences that he holds 'conservative values.'
Did he forget his voting record? -- the voting record that makes him the most liberal member of the United States Senate?" A National Journal survey rated
Kerry as the most liberal senator, partly because he had so few votes."
"Bush-Cheney
campaign manager Ken Mehlman said Kerry's statement was an effort to reinvent himself, because he knows that his 20-year voting record will not sell in the upper Midwest.
"This is a consistent pattern where he makes statements which are so contrary to the facts that it's almost as if he hopes
no one checks them," Mehlman said." <end of quote from Wash. Post>

Read this about candidate Kerry, quoted from http://jtf.org:
"What type of mental illness would induce wealthy and successful Americans such
as Kerry, (Ramsey) Clark and (Jane) Fonda to so hate their own country?
Whatever the cause, we all know that this bizarre phenomenon is widespread among
America's elite. Hollywood, the news media, the university world and the multinational corporations are all dominated by people
who absolutely detest America.
The fact that an extreme left-wing America-hater like
Kerry has about a 50-50 chance of becoming America's next President should alarm every sane citizen.
At this time, in which we face the very real threat of a Muslim terrorist nuclear
holocaust, allowing such a vicious America-hater to become the leader of the world's sole remaining superpower would truly
be an act of national suicide.
As much as we despise George W. Bush, there is no doubt that John Kerry is MUCH
worse."
Here's another quote from the same website:
"As the leader of Vietnam Veterans Against the War, Kerry spoke at numerous demonstrations
where the U.S. flag was burned, mutilated and urinated upon.
As Kerry spoke, many demonstrators waved Viet Cong Communist enemy flags and pictures
of North Vietnamese Communist dictator Ho Chi Minh.
In other words, Kerry spoke at mass demonstrations which were held to openly support
America's Communist enemy in Vietnam, at a time when American soldiers were being murdered on the battlefield, and at a time
when American prisoners of war were being brutally tortured."
Perhaps there is nothing wrong with Kerry's protesting America's involvement in
Vietnam.
But to AID AND ABET the ENEMY?
Some Bush-bashers claim that they don't think that Bush is in charge of Foreign
policy...it's either "Sheikh" Cheney or Bush's fellow bedmates, the Jesuits..."
I say, who gives a damn WHO is in charge??!! All I care
about is WHAT IS the Foreign Policy.
Some Bush-bashers praise Kerry for fighting in Vietnam. Big deal. Just look at
the chaos he created upon RETURNING from Vietnam, as the leader of Vietnam Veterans
Against the War.
I've got news for you. other vets who fought in Vietnam DETEST, LOATH,
and DESPISE Kerry for the way that he BETRAYED them upon his return from Vietnam.
I personally heard one Vietnam Vet call in to a radio talk show, describing his
utter revulsion for the traitorous back-stabbing Kerry. The passion of this Vet was so great that
he almost CRIED.
For this reason, I predict that just as there was Kerry's "Vietnam Veterans Against
the War," so too there will probably develop a new organization called "Vietnam Veterans Against Kerry." Just wait and see...
