From Homer, we took a small boat to the western side of Katchemak Bay and Seldovia, one of a handful of small villages which are not accessible by road. We returned by air which provided some great views of the bay and it's coastline.
A sea otter relaxing as seen during our boat ride across the bay to Seldovia.
Cormorants and gulls on Rock Island.
Part of the historic boardwalk section of Seldovia that wasn't destroyed by the 1964 earthquake. Apparently the waterfront buildings were connected by an elevated walkway.
Our ride back to Homer.
Awesome views of the inlets and mountains on western side of Katchemak Bay as we fly from Seldovia to Homer.
The very end of The Spit from above.
The marina near the end of The Spit.
