Shocked I am!

Really. I'm shocked. To think that the people in the Middle East were fighting one another some 5500 years ago just shocks me to no end. Really, it does. I mean, there was no George Bush, no Zionist state, no foreigners messing around in their business. Yet somehow one group of people managed to completely wipe out an entire city-state.

I'm waiting for someone to explain this to me because I really thought that the only reason there has been a state of war in the Middle East has been Western meddling, the founding of Israel and our own lust for oil....
