the most valuable player in this entire replay.
Reynolds led the AL
in wins with a 7-1 record, and his 1.71 ERA also led the league. He also finished fourth in strikeouts with
44, and sixth in WHIP (1.32). His
presence seemed to bolster the Yankees, and helped to lead them to the World
Series victory.

While Reynolds led from the hill, DiMaggio led at the plate. He led the league in home runs and slugging,
