JOYCE MCCULLOUGH

Joyce is a resident of Warminster, Pennsylvania.

With a Cabinet Maker for a father and artistic mother, wood and power tools have always been a part of her life, but didn’t know how much until 1992 when her husband, John had taken her to her first wood carving show in Abington, PA. This is where she found her passion for sculpting in wood. "It’s a wonderful thing when you can take a block of wood and turn it into a lifelike creature".

Joyce has received many awards including several Best of Shows, and People’s Choice honors.

In recent years, she has taken her carving skills and applied them to wood turnings; sculpting, texturing and burning on vessels, bowls, etc. There is much to learn and she is continuing to explore the world of wood.

Joyce is a member of the Delaware Valley Woodcarvers, NWCA, PA Guild of Craftsmen, Bucks Co. Guild of craftsmen, Bucks Woodturners, and the AAW.

She currently sells her sculptures, judges and demonstrates at carving shows.
