Eleanor's Page

I am a part-time roving social work researcher and the mother of a two-year old.  I came to this way of life through trying to find a way to be at home with Eleanor as much as possible and still pay the cookie bill.

But we are more than what we do.  I am a thirty-one year old female, raised in an Ohio River town and now here I am just up-river (Did I mention that I vowed as a child never to live in a hot, humid river town again?).  I read mystery novels voraciously and try to read more "serious" books when I get a few nights of sleep in a row.  I am a champion sleeper myself, but my child rarely allows it.  I write stories for children, and I love crafts of all kinds -- unfortunately, you will never mistake my crafts for something professionally made.  I am the queen of dropped stitches.  I'm a Quaker.
