Scoring

Scoring is based on the low point scoring system as defined in ISAF Rules of racing 2009 – 2012,

Each series of 6 races will permit two throw out scores if all 6 races are completed, one throw out score if 5 races are completed, and no throw out scores if 4 or less races are completed.

Season Series and Awards

We will award First, Second, And Third Place trophies for each of the two series and for overall placement.  The overall race trophies will be determined by taking the low score for the sum of the finish positions for both series.  For example, if you finished 2^nd in one series and 3^rd in the other series, your overall score is 5.

In cases of ties in the series and overall standings, the winner is the skipper with the higher number of 1^st place finishes (and 2^nd, 3^rd, etc. as required to break the tie).
