The Current House Cats

Buster the Cat This is Buster the largest and most vocal of the cats.  He has such a loud voice that during his few stays in the hospital he has driven his keepers a little nuts with his wailing.  You'll notice he is also quite long--he has a long tail, a long body and a long face.

Cleopatra the Cat Cleopatra is our in-house terrorist. When she isn't peeing on any object in sight she is picking fights with the other cats. Ironically she is actually a good lap cat and sleeps beside John much of the night. Her "house" is a big cage in the family room which is as much to protect her from the other cats as to protect the furniture.

Fiona the Cat Fiona is our "New York Edition" cat and she lives with Kate in Binghamton although she stops by Groton sometimes. You can find many more details by checking Fiona's Myspace Page. She is named after a main character from Kate's favorite movie.

Oliver the Cat Oliver came to us last winter. When the winter became particularly fierce he began living in the garage. He lived their until it became particularly cold in the Winter '08 and he moved indoors. He is now Patti's little buddy when he's not out hunting. He has been known to go after animals many times his size.

Smidge the Cat Smidge is Patti's prize calico cat. Due to the genetics of calicos she is quite small. She used to play with Buster in the shelter (which is why Buster came to our house a few weeks later). She might regret it since Buster is now 1.5 times the size of Smidge and has been known to give her a hard time. She spends a lot of time hiding from the other cats.
