Abstracts and opening and closing papers available at 1998: "The Year of the Tiger Conference: Securing the Future for Wild Tigers," February 10-12, (Served as chairman of the Save the Tiger Fund Council that sponsored the conference and a member of the organizing committee together with P. Jackson, H. Quigley, N. Sherman, D. Phemister, R. Tilson, and J. Ginsberg.) The conference budget was $275,000 with about 130 in attendance representing 18 countries, including representatives from 13 of the 14 tiger range states. 2000: "Animal Enrichment in Zoos," together with L. Stevens, J. Mellon, M. Sevenich. A four-day workshop at the Smithsonian National Zoological Park. 2002: “Model for Success: The Save The Tiger Fund” organized and moderated panel discussion at the annual conference of the American Zoo and Aquarium Association, Fort Worth, TX, September 14, 2002. 2003: “Growing and Nurturing Conservation Leaders in Asia” a workshop organized with Tracy Frish and Eric Dinerstein held at the World Wildlife Fund-US. 1997-ongoing, yearly: Save The Tiger Fund Council annual meetings,
organizer and host including one day seminars on “The State of
Tiger Conservation Today” by the foremost scientists and conservation
