1998: "The Year of the Tiger Conference: Securing the Future for Wild Tigers," February 10-12, (Served as chairman of the Save the Tiger Fund Council that sponsored the conference and a member of the organizing committee together with P. Jackson, H. Quigley, N. Sherman, D. Phemister, R. Tilson, and J. Ginsberg.) The conference budget was $275,000 with about 130 in attendance representing 18 countries, including representatives from 13 of the 14 tiger range states.

2000: "Animal Enrichment in Zoos," together with L. Stevens, J. Mellon, M. Sevenich. A four-day workshop at the Smithsonian National Zoological Park.

2002: “Model for Success: The Save The Tiger Fund” organized and moderated panel discussion at the annual conference of the American Zoo and Aquarium Association, Fort Worth, TX, September 14, 2002.

2003: “Growing and Nurturing Conservation Leaders in Asia” a workshop organized with Tracy Frish and Eric Dinerstein held at the World Wildlife Fund-US.

1997-ongoing, yearly: Save The Tiger Fund Council annual meetings, organizer and host including one day seminars on “The State of Tiger Conservation Today” by the foremost scientists and conservation practitioners in tiger conservation.
