Welcome to JonDichter.com

"Jon Dichter continues to cross pollinate across a broad musical landscape . . ."

In the past 10 years, he has produced eight CDs (including much of his own original music).

Jon founded the Summer Hummer Concert Series in Wynnewood Valley Park.

Currently he teaches music at The Baldwin School, is a certified Steinway trained piano craftsman, and is producing a documentary about the life of Eddie Lang, the first jazz guitarist.

"At the age of five when I heard that the Beatles intended to launch a British invasion I felt it was my duty to protect my sisters (who were 11 & 12 respectively) and all of the other crazed teenagers from watching the historic Ed Sullivan show. When the four lads from Liverpool graced the stage, all preconceived notions went out the window, and music forever surged through every cell of my being."

Jon currently performs in ensembles with Stephane Wrembel and with Kruno Spisic in the Gypsy Jazz idiom.
