photoalbums - including a scan of the original pamphlet from the
Pheasantry Club where Yvonne was first discovered.

Freddie Perren 1943 - 2004
I was saddened to learn that Freddie Perren passed away in California
on December 16, 2004. Freddie taught me one of my most valuable
lessons- how to harmonize correctly. You'd be surprised
how many people do it wrong- and how much better their song would
be if they let Freddie arrange and guide them through it.
He produced all of my biggest hits: "Love Me", "Hello
Stranger", and "If I Can't Have You". He
and his song-writing wife, Chris, were a strong team - getting
their songs out there, motivating people, doing good deeds for
the community and it's people, and sharing their gifts. I have
nothing but fond, loving memories about the Perrens'. . . and
Freddie, you're with The Man now. I can see your smile.

Stone Obituary
November 2004 -
A new and improved website is in development. Yvonne has been
busy recording and performing in Hawaii, and a new cd entitled
"Simple Needs" is on the way! Bernie Grundman has just
finished the mastering in Los Angeles and we'll be going to press
soon. We hope to have copies pressed and available for sale here
by the end of the year. Keep checking back for updates.
