<BODY BGCOLOR="fffbf0"> <BASE TARGET="_self"> <CENTER><H1>Feminism and Women's Resources</H1> </CENTER> <P> Welcome to the Feminism and Women's Resources Page. This project began over five years ago simply to keep track of some of the available women's resources on the then new WWW and make them available to ourselves as web pages. At the time, no thought at all was given to making that information public. However, soon after advent of webcrawler type search engines which went out to catalogue the Internet, our pages were discovered and visitors started to come. Following that, some effort was put into organizing and beautifying the site and adding new sites as they came available. <P> Back in 1996-97 it was still possible to keep up with the fantastic growth rate of women's sites. Unfortunately, things have sped up exponentially and the time we can allocate to this project has diminished. <P> There are many other sites which are large enough to keep up with the pace of change, and you are encouraged to visit these for the most up-to-date information. All of the sites in this list will be kept here for their historical value. We will not be accepting requests for new site additions. In fact, there is a backlog of nearly 18 months of requests that I probably will never get around to adding. We will accept change requests, as webmasters get annoyed if people keep trying to access pages that no longer exist! <P> So, enjoy what is here.
