EDITED 9/26/05 -8/27/05 - Season
5 which takes place 18 months later will start like Season 4 with a two-night, four hour premiere on Jan. 15 and 16
starting at 8pm (ET/PT) Then returning to normal schedule on Mondays on Jan. 23 at the usual 9pm (ET/PT).
8/24/05 - Great news for those hoping for 24 reruns. There will

same four episodes for that day.)
And supposedly, local stations are showing repeats of 24 on weekends starting
the first week of October. Source link at the bottom following the list of airings for your proof. Isn't this great?

7/27/05 - TONY IS BACK FOR SEASON 5!! Just in case, TV Guide
updates the page, here are the words posted by TV Guide. Great huh?
24 WINS TONY: No, no, no, there isn't a Broadway musical out there that you've somehow
overlooked that stars Nathan Lane as a high-kicking Jack Bauer. What we mean is that the Fox thriller has
gotten Carlos Bernard to return as Tony Almeida for the series' upcoming fifth season. Although, come to think of it,
it would be pretty funny to see Nathan Lane battling terrorists armed with only the ol' razzle-dazzle.
6/29/05 - There will be a prequel just like the one on
the Season 3 DVD except this one will be longer.
Bill Buchanan will be back for Season 5 as a regular.
6/17/05 - Two years will have passed when Season 5 starts and
guess who's president?
Question: Got 24 scoop? I can't wait until January! — P.J.
Ausiello: My CTU mole tells me two years will have passed between Seasons 4 and 5. And get this:
Doofus Veep Logan will be the official president when the show returns. For some inexplicable reason, producers love that
little nimrod. Meanwhile, I think it's safe to assume Keeler died on the operating table.

6/4/05 - Wondering what happened to Behrooz? Some sources said
he was coming back in the finale, but he never showed up, here's what happened...
Question: Where is Behrooz!?!? I'm organizing a search party. Care to join? — Eric
Ausiello: I found him! Keep reading!
Question: What happened to Behrooz on 24? They never told us! — Tom
Ausiello: He's alive, sweet Jesus, he's alive! Turns out a scene where Jack learns what happened
to the little teen terrorist who couldn't got cut from the finale. For the scoop on that MIA sequence — and other burning
cliff-hanger mysteries — be sure to pick up the June 12 issue of TV Guide magazine (on sale June 9).

Well, that's enough to get me to buy the magazine... (Edit 6/17:
looks like I didn't get the mag afterall... oops?)
Other news:
Question: Why haven't the producers of 24 made Mary Lynn Rajskub a regular yet?
Chloe is one of the best characters on TV, and I think Monday's episode was my favorite hour of 24 all season. Chloe
with a machine gun? Enough said. — Michael Meinecke
Ausiello: Prepare yourself for what I like to call an Ask Ausiello Super-Scoop, Michael Meinecke.
Sources confirm for AA that Mary Lynn Rajskub (aka 24's terrorist-slayer Chloe) has just sealed a deal to return to
24 next season as a full-fledged, honest-to-goodness, Kiefer Sutherland-esque series regular! I suggest you
join me in saying a big thank-you to the TV gods.
