Something to think about...

"Is anything too hard for the LORD?"
(Genesis 18:14) (New International Version)
"This is God's loving challenge to you and me each day.  He wants us to think of the deepest, highest, and worthiest desires and longings of our hearts. He wants us to think of those things that perhaps were desires for ourselves or someone dear to us, yet have gone unfulfilled for so long that we now see them as simply lost desires. And God urges us to think of even the one thing that we once saw as possible but have given up all hope of seeing fulfilled in this life.
THAT VERY THING, as long as it aligns with what we know to be His expressed will - as a son was to Abraham and Sarah - God intends to DO for us. Yes, if we will let Him, God will do THAT VERY THING, even if we know it is such an utter impossibility that we would simple laugh at the absurdity of anyone ever suggesting it could come to pass.
'Is anything too hard for the LORD?' No, nothing is too difficult when we believe in Him enough to go forward, doing His will and letting Him do the impossible for us.  Even Abraham and Sarah could have blocked God's plan for us. Even Abraham and Sarah could have blocked God's plan
if they had continued to disbelieve.
The only thing 'too hard for the LORD' is our deliberate and continual disbelief in His love and power, and our ultimate rejection of His plans for us. Nothing is impossible for Jehovah to do for those who trust Him.

"My goal is God Himself, not joy, nor peace,
Nor even blessing, but Himself, my God;
It's His to lead me there, not mine, but His -
"At any cost, dear Lord, by any road!"
"So faith bounds forward to its goal in God,
And love can trust her Lord to lead her there;
Upheld by Him, my soul is following hard
Till the Lord has fulfilled my deepest prayer.
No matter if the way is sometimes dark,
No matter though the cost is often great,
He knows the way for me to reach the mark,
The road that leads to Him is sure and straight.
One thing is sure, I cannot tell Him no;
One thing I do, I press towards my Lord;
Giving God my glory here, as I go,
Knowing in heaven waits my Great Reward."

"There is a portion of the Word of God that is glorious but it is not always understood and is abused by many. It is one you will find inscribed on wall plaques and placed on samplers and bookmarks. It is used, perhaps, more than any other scripture: "And we know all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28). That promise is glorious but that promise is not for everyone! It was given for only those who are living in God's perfect will, for those who have surrendered everything to Him, who are "the called according to His purpose."

Some Healing Scriptures to Study:

(All of the following will be from the New King James Version of the Bible)
Malachi 4:2 - "But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves."
Matthew 4:23 - "Now Jesus went about all Galilee,
teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel
of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness
and all kinds of disease among the people."
Matthew 9:35 - "And Jesus went about all the cities
and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching
the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness
and every disease among the people."
Luke 6:19 - "And the whole multitude sought to touch
Him, or power went out from Him and healed them all."
Luke 9:6 - "So they departed and went through the towns,
preaching the gospel and healing everywhere."
Luke 9:11 - "But when the multitude knew it, they
followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them
about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had
need of healing."
Acts 3:16 - "And His name, through faith in His name,
has made this man strong, whom you see and know.
Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him
this perfect soundness in the presence of you all."
Acts 10:38 - "And we are witnesses of all things which
He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem,
whom they killed by hanging on a tree."
I Cor. 12:9 - "to another faith by the same Spirit, to
another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,"
I Cor. 12:28 - "And God has appointed these in the
church: first apostles, second prophets, third
teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings,
helps, administrations, varieties of tongues."
I Cor. 12:30 - "Do all have gifts of healings? Do all
speak with tongues? Do all interpret?"

"The Bible is filled with glorious accounts of miracles.
Throughout the ministry of Jesus, Scripture reveals many
occasions when He supernaturally intervened in the lives
of men and women. From turning water into wine at Canaan to raising Jairus' daughter from the dead, He brought help and hope to desperate lives...There was no disease or condition that was too difficult for Jesus to heal. He had power over all diseases...
The same Jesus who walked this earth 'healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people' still heals today. Diseases and infirmities still vanish as sick bodies are transformed by the healing touch of Jesus. Health and life are restored when the Master comes on the scene."   (Taken from The Miracle of Healing by Benny Hinn)

"Glory in His holy name;
let the hearts of those rejoice who seek and require the Lord (as their indispensable necessity)". (Psalm 105:3)

"No one should ever be afraid of God's will.
Unfortunately, there are some people today who
feel that the will of God is always unpleasant.
They are afraid to submit to God's purpose,
because they are sure that happiness and God's
will cannot be compatible. They spend most of
their life trying to avoid God's plan, thinking
the will of God will somehow make them unhappy.
But according to the Bible, nothing could be
further from the truth. The Bible tells us that
when we delight ourselves in the Lord - when we
allow Him to have control of our lives - He will give us the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4)."  (George Sweeting - How To Discover The Will of God)

"Dear friend, you can trust the Man who died for you.  You can trust Him to thwart each plan that should be stopped and to complete each one that results in His greatest glory and your highest good.  You can trust Him to lead you down the path that is the very best in this world for you."  (J.H.M. - Streams In The Desert)

"God shows His great love for us in this way: Christ died for us while we were still sinners." (Romans 5:28)
"Can anything make me stop loving you?" God asks. "Watch me speak your language, sleep on your earth, and feel your hurts. Behold the maker of sight and sound as He sneezes, coughs, and blows His nose. You wonder if I understand how you feel? Look into the dancing eyes of the kid in Nazareth; that's God walking to school. Ponder the toddler at Mary's table; that's God spilling His milk.
"You wonder how long my love will last? Find your answer on a splintered cross, on a craggy hill, That's me you see up there, your maker, your God, nail-stabbed and bleeding. Covered in spit and sin-soaked.
"That's your sin I'm feeling. That's your death I'm dying. That's your resurrection I'm living. That's how much I love you."
(Max Lucado - Grace For The Moment)

"Genesis 1:27 states that God created
human beings in His image - what better
reason to feel positive about ourselves!
Criticizing ourselves or feeling unworthy
insults God and His creation.
'So God created people in His own image;
God patterned them after Himself; male and
female He created them.'
David praised God in Psalm 139:13-17 for
knowing him, loving him, and creating him
with such care. God deserves your praise
for the way He created you. You hold the
image of God - don't downplay the worth
you have in God's eyes.
'You made all the delicate, inner parts
of my body and knit me together in my
mother's womb. Thank you for making me
so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship
is marvelous - and how well I know it.
You watched me as I was being formed in
utter seclusion, as I was woven together
in the dark of the womb. You saw me before
I was born. Every day of my life was recorded
in your book. Every moment was laid out before
a single day had passed. How precious are your
thoughts about me, O God! They are innumerable!'
(New Living Translation)
Our true worth comes from God, not other people's
opinions of us. God values and cares for us
because we are His precious children. In Luke 12:
6-7, Jesus encourages us to rest secure in God's
love for us.
'What is the price of five sparrows? A couple
of pennies? Yet God does not forget a single one
of them. And the very hairs on your head are all
numbered. So don't be afraid; you are more valuable
to Him than a whole flock of sparrows.'
(New Living Translation)
Because of our upbringing, circumstances or failures
in life, many of us feel unwanted and worthless.
Cutting remarks from others such as 'You're useless!'
ring in our ears. But God's Word shouts the opposite.
You have value. You count! You are God's special
creation, made in His image. And that is just the
beginning of the story. God's word is filled with
covenant promises, redemption, grace, mercy, forgive-
ness, salvation, and guidance. All this is provided
for you because God loves you and treasures you.
Regardless of painful circumstances or hateful words,
know that you have value. Don't allow feelings of
worthlessness to defeat you. Meditate on God's Word.
Think about the fact that God created you with special
care and loves you as His own. Let these truths sink
into your soul, then bask in His love and live as His
special child."

"GOD IS ABLE TO MAKE ALL GRACE
ABOUND TOWARD YOU; THAT YE,
ALWAYS HAVING ALL SUFFICIENCY
IN ALL THINGS, MAY ABOUND TO
EVERY GOOD WORK."
(II Corinthians 9:8)
(King James Version)

"Matthew 10:29-31 assures us of our value
in God's sight. We can be confident of
His care for us because He loves us.
[Jesus said] 'Not even a sparrow, worth
only half a penny, can fall to the ground
without your Father knowing it. And the
very hairs on your head are all numbered.
So don't be afraid; you are more valuable
to Him than a whole flock of sparrows.'
One of the smallest birds is the sparrow -
and surely one of the most common and ordinary.
Sparrows come in many varieties and can be
found all over the world.
Jesus used this tiny and seemingly insignificant creature to illustrate God's care for the earth and to teach the value of God's most cherished creation - human beings.
How much are sparrows worth? In the world, not
very much. But God knows when each one falls.
How much are you worth...
According to the world?
According to God?
Whenever you feel hopeless, helpless, and
worthless, consider that you hold much more
value than any sparrow. God knows you,
watches you, and deeply cares for you."

my former life of sin - so that I ever have
a thankful heart that Christ Jesus saved me

of hope and salvation to the world still
lost in darkness."
