"The sea was beating against the rocks
in huge, dashing waves. The lightning was flashing, the thunder was roaring, the wind was blowing; but the little bird was
asleep in the crevice of the rock, its head serenely under its wing, sound asleep. That is peace - to be able to sleep in
the storm! In Christ, we are relaxed and at peace in the midst of the confusion, bewilderments, and perplexities of life.
The storm rages, but our hearts are at rest. We have found peace - at last!" (Taken From Day By Day With Billy Graham)
"Several years ago, a newspaper cartoon was
drawn of two fields divided by a fence. Both were about the same size, and each had plenty of lush green grass.
Each field had a mule whose head stuck through
the wire fence, eating grass from the other's pasture. Although each mule was surrounded by plenty of grass, the neighboring
field seemed somewhat more desirable - even though it was harder to reach. In the process, the mules' heads became caught
in the fence. They panicked and brayed uncontrollably at being unable to free themselves. The cartoonist wisely described
the situation with one caption: 'DISCONTENT'. Like the mules, when we focus on what we don't have we become blinded to
the blessings which surround us. There is nothing wrong with desiring something, but to think life is easier in someone else's
pasture may not be true. Besides, no matter whose pasture we are in, we will always have to deal with the attitudes of our
own heart. If there is something you desire in life, perhaps a home, a better car, or even your own business, look to Jesus
to help you bring it to pass. And while He is working on it, remember to find pleasure in what He's already given you!" (Hebrews
13:5: "Be content with such things as ye have.") "The grass may be greener on the other side, but it still has to be mowed."

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ "I
have often wondered why, in my own meetings, the Spirit directs me so often to pray for healing. And I have wondered
why my ministry has been accompanied by people who fall under the power of the Holy Spirit. But when I look at
the results of the meetings, I see that every manifestation of the Spirit is for one purpose: to bring people
to Christ. It is a demonstration that God is alive, that He is still 'moving' in the lives of people. I have
seen thousands of people literally fall under the power of the Spirit, and I believe that just a small touch of
God's power is all they felt. But it demonstrates the awesome strength of the Almighty, and it draws people
to the Savior. Being healed or even being 'slain in the Spirit' is not a prerequisite for heaven. There is
only one door - Christ the Lord." (Benny Hinn - The Miracle of Healing) <>< <>< <>< <><
"The Bible is filled with glorious accounts of miracles.
Throughout the ministry of Jesus, Scripture reveals many occasions when He supernaturally intervened in the lives of men and
women. From turning water into wine at Canaan to raising Jairus' daughter from the dead, He brought help and hope to desperate
lives...There was no disease or condition that was too difficult for Jesus to heal. He had power over all diseases... The
same Jesus who walked this earth 'healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people' still heals today.
Diseases and infirmities still vanish as sick bodies are transformed by the healing touch of Jesus. Health and life are restored
when the Master comes on the scene." (Taken from The Miracle of Healing by Benny Hinn)
"If you and I could understand the absolute perfection
of our Heavenly Father, we would never again ask the reason 'why' regarding His guidance, His wisdom or His dealings with
us. Every time one of His children looks up through bitter tears and asks the question, 'why,' that one questions the Heavenly
Father's intelligence, His wisdom, His power, His authority, His perfection and His love. If we are completely surrendered
unto Him, body and soul and spirit; if we are living up to all the light that we have regarding spiritual things and abiding
in His perfect will, then absolutely nothing can come into our lives and nothing can touch us but that which He allows and
permits. It is impossible for our Heavenly Father to make a mistake. He is perfect wisdom and perfect knowledge."

<>< <>< "Spiritual renewal comes from God alone - we must depend on Him to change our hearts and
lives. The psalmist's prayer in Psalm 51:10 is one we can bring before God with expectancy. 'Create in me a clean
heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.' (New Living Translation) Ephesians 4:22-24 emphasizes the necessity
of spiritual renewal. We must be changed in our thoughts and attitudes to reflect God's likeness. God wants to
make us holy for His glory. 'Throw off your old evil nature and your former way of life, which is rotten through
and through, full of lust and deception. Instead, there must be a spiritual renewal of your thoughts and attitudes.
You must display a new nature because you are a new person, created in God's likeness - righteous, holy, and true.'"

"God has raised this Jesus to
life, and we are all witnesses of the fact. Exalted to the right hand of God, He has received from the Father the promised
Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear. For David did not ascend to heaven, and yet he said, 'The
Lord said to my Lord: Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.' 'Therefore
let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.' When the people
heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, 'Brothers, what shall we do?' Peter replied,
'Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive
the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off - for all whom the Lord
our God will call.' (Acts 2:32-39) (New International Version) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Now suppose one of you fathers is asked by his son for a fish; he will not give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?"
"Or if he is asked for an egg, he will not give him a scorpion, will he?" "If you then, being evil, know how to give
good gifts to your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?" (Luke
11: 11-13) (New American Standard Version)
"Now John was 'clothed with
camel's hair and with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey. And he preached, saying, 'There
comes One after me who is mightier than I, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to stoop down and loose. I indeed baptized
you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.'" (Mark 1: 6-8) (New King James Version)
"Don't be drunk with wine, because that
will ruin your life. Instead, let the Holy Spirit fill and control you. Then you will sing psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs among yourselves, making music to the Lord in your hearts. And you will always give thanks for everything to God the
Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Ephesians 5:18-20) (New Living Translation)

"Lord, hem my life with praise,
Praise to Thee above For all Thy wondrous attributes, Thy worthiness, O God. Hem my life with faithfulness
To follow in Thy way; Lord, keep my foot from slipping Along the narrow way. Hem my life with thankfulness
And humbleness, O God... Hem my life with each of these And stitch it with Thy love."
