The
Preschool
I
use a literature based pre-K homeschool curiculum that
does an excellent job of creating a love of reading and
learning.
I
also use The Creative Curriculum for Preschool and
Family Childcare for most of our activities and to
create a developmentally appropriate learning
environment.
Daily
Activities include:
*Circle
Time (Good Morning Song, Weather, Calendar, etc.)
*I
read aloud to the children many times throughout the
day
*Daily
activity related to one of the books we read.
*Outdoor
Play (weather permitting)
*Large
and Small motor activities
*Dramatic
Play
In
addition to the daily activities, the following
activities are done one or more times per week:
*Arts
*Crafts * Fingerplays * Poems * Nursery Rhymes *
Games
* Puzzles * Dancing * Exercise * Practice
with preschool skills. (letters, numbers, scissors,
tracing, etc)
