Artist Profile

A native new Englander, Judy expresses her passion for the pleasures and beauty
of nature through her paintings. She worked exclusively in watercolor for 40 years
and recently switched to oil as her medium. After raising a family in the Philadelphia area
and working 18 years in advertising, she moved to Cape Cod in 1993 to paint full time.
She strives for realism in a loose, impressionist style, with a focus on patterns of light and atmosphere.
Judy's love for winter sports has taken her to Colorado annually, where she has been skiing
and showing her paintings and resort posters since 1989.

Two of Judy's three children inherited her creative genes. David www.davidharmon.com was trained as a
graphic artist and
Barbara www.barbaraharmon.com as a medical & scientific illustrator.
