I started this quilt for my mother's 75th birthday many months in advance. I asked family members and long-time
friends of my mothers for memories that I then wrote on squares with fabric pens. I also included major accomplishments
from her life, including earning her PhD while raising 8 children and being a Quiz Kid in her younger years.
It was touching to see how happy people were to be able to part of this unique gift that my mother treasures dearly.
