When Marsha was diagnosed with cancer, I knew I wanted to do something. I appliqued hearts onto fabric and gave
the hearts and some fabric pens to various groups she was involved with at church to secretly gather signatures and well wishes.
She was very touched and brought it with her to her chemotherapy sessions.
I quilted hearts, flowers and leaves throughout the quilt. I included one hand holding a heart (above) and quilted
hearts throughout the border (below).
