These ALERTS are to keep people abreast of the moves of messianic evangelists. Just to make this clear, these pages are NOT anti-Christian; they are specifically to make Jews aware of the deceptive practices used by messianics to recruit unknowing Jews.
If you would like to contribute a link please send email with as much relevant information as possible to jwd-jewishwatchdog@comcast.net and we will research the link as soon as possible. If it fits the requirements at JWD it will be added to the site.
JACK T. CHICK webmaster@chick.com
Chick's greatest claim to fame, so to speak, is his first
publication - the notoriously vile tract called Where's Rabbi
Waxman (that 'comic' already has its own JWD
alert.) It is described on his site as: "Online tract
- In this tract, written specially for Jewish people, Rabbi
Waxman comes face-to-face with prophecies of the Messiah and sees
how they all point to Jesus." It also shows very clearly
the terrible fate of those Jews who have resisted the 'message' Here
is a link you should look at. Rather than post a quote I will let
you see for yourself. Old Testament
prophecies help in witnessing to Jews described as: "BC
Article - Suggestions for evangelical Christians who wish to
share the gospel of Jesus with Jewish people."
Chick
is a 'born-again' Christian fundamentalist who uses
"comics" to promote his "message"; he
embodies the worst traits of every one of them. There are no
words to describe the filthy lies that he publishes under the
umbrella title of 'Christian Gospel Tracts' . His first published
tract aimed at the Jews (he is very open about his intentions) is
called "Where's Rabbi Waxman?"
CJF
Ministries israel@cjfministries.org
This is one of the largest evangelical
organizations. The ministry that deals specifically with helping
Russian "Jewish believers" to make aliyah is called Redemption
2000. In their own words: "the focus is on our Jewish brothers and
sisters in the former Soviet Union." They also clearly
state their aims and intentions toward "non-believing" Russian Jews: "Just
because our priority is to rescue Jewish believers in Jesus does not mean we
will not also provide help for some who are not believers. Quite to the
contrary, we will do everything in our power to minister to them in the Name of
Yeshua the Messiah. Furthermore, when they receive help, they will also get the
Gospel!" (http://www.cjf.org/pages/2kfaq.htm)
This organization
specifically focuses is missionary efforts on vulnerable Israeli immigrants from
Russia. Not only are they well-funded, they cloak their
"support" in sentiments of "love" for the Jewish
people. Of course, their "love" has a high price -- no less than
the souls of those Jews they ensnare.
Dugit Messianic Outreach Center
These
guys refuse to post email addresses or staff details due to "threats"
that they claim to have received from genuine Jews. If they came back to Judaism they would not
have to hide!
Greater Things sterlingda@greaterthings.com
click on this link Reciprocally
Violent and prepare to be sickened. "Muslims,
Christians, Jews all have violent dogmas that are contrary to the
highest essence of their religion. A tit-for-tat response to those
who berate Islam as a murderous religion in its essence."
This
is a horrible site; not only do they deny the basic tenets of
Judaism, they claim to be the only answer to the worlds problems
of violence. Just about anywhere you go here you will fing
sickening quotes and twisted truths.
HADAVAR - Sharing
Seychel HaDavar@netzero.net
This site, among other things, has a page that gives explicit,
step-by-step instructions on how missionaries should approach
Jews that they have marked for conversion, including a list of
words to use and words to avoid. Here's an example (it's #3 on
the list): "When talking about God it would be
advisable to use the phrase, "the God of Abraham, Isaac, and
Jacob". The Lord or Hashem are fine terms to use as
well."
These
people and their site are extremely dangerous. They may not be
'sharing seychel' (common sense), as they claim, but they ARE
sharing methods that have proved effective in ensnaring gullible
or needy Jews.
History of the
Church of God RWcamp@cris.com
History of the Church of God is a branch of Providence Baptist
Ministries (www.pbministries.org/) - a really big site but they
are 'messianic' toward everyone, not just Jews.
Reading
this page is hard enough to read without the church music, so I
warn you to turn down the volume first.
International Fellowship of
Christians and Jews info@ifcj.org
While Rabbi Eckstein is an ordained Rabbi, he and his organization have
the position that evangelical Christians are the Jews' best friends, that their
support has no ulterior motives and that their money is freely given with no
strings attached. "They do so not because of the hogwash about
missionary activity that you read so often in the media; the reason they are
doing it is simply to be a blessing to Israel and the Jewish People." (http://www.israelnn.com/news.php3?id=26481)
If you check the websites of these same evangelical Christians that Rabbi
Eckstein panders to, you will see that many of them state their missionary aims
very openly as well as their reasons for helping Jews make aliyah. (An
excellent example is CJF's response to why they only help "Jewish
believers" from Russia to make aliyah: "The New Testament teaches that
our first and foremost duty as Christians is to help our fellow believers ...
[therefore] ... the focus is on our Jewish brothers and sisters in the former
Soviet Union..." http://www.cjf.org/pages/2kfaq.htm)
Eckstein's organization is listed on many "messianic jewish" listings
and he is fine with that. (See http://www.churchontheweb.com/links/messianic.htm
for one example.) People who call themselves "messianic jews"
are an abomination and his close association with them tars him with their
brush, no matter how he conducts his private life. This is especially true
because he uses his standing as an Orthodox rabbi to lead other Jews
astray. In fact, this man who refuses to acknowledge the dangers of
"messianic jews" and evangelical Christians, is on the Jewish Agency
Board of Governors! (See http://www.jafi.org.il/aliyah/dept/spotlight/0203/board.asp)
This is
truly a disturbing site and Rabbi Eckstein is a dangerous Jew, an enemy of
Israel and people need to be warned against him, his organization and his pet
Christian evangelists
.
Israel's Harvest
Ministry ihmweb@israelsharvest.com
Israel's Harvest is a ministry called to:
1. See both Jew & non-Jew come to faith in the Lord Yeshua
HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah)
2. Teach the non-Jewish believer how to fulfill their Romans 11
assignment to "provoke the Jew to jealousy".
We do this by active evangelism, teachings on the Church's Jewish
roots and providing Scriptural resources for the Believer's
edification. On this site you will find Teachings, answers to
your questions regarding Messianic Judaism and even a Marketplace where you can find lots of wonderful products to enhance your
walk with Messiah. Be blessed as you spend the next few moments
with Israel's Harvest Ministries.....written by Rabbi Scott
Sekulow
There
are times when my work is made easy. This is one of the. I didn't
have to go any further than the main page of this dreadful site
to get everything I needed for this alert. Please remember
rooting out Messianics is as important as the other work we do
and while someone, the other day, told me "just don't pay
attention to thse Messianics and they will go away" thinks
this is the case, it is not! Rabbi Sekulow is next on the JWD's
watch list.
Jewish Jewels jjewels@jewishjewels.org
At this site the first stop is the We
Believe page.... "1. That the Bible, composed of both
the Old Covenant (Tenach) and the New Covenant (Brit Hadasha) is
the only infallible and authoritative Word of God. (I Timothy
3:16)". That is just the beginning it gets much worse. From
their Neil
and Jamie Lash page you can get the explanation for this trash.
Here is the text from that page. "Neil and Jamie both
received Yeshua as Savior and Lord in 1973, and God made them
"One" in the Messiah. He took two teachers - one male,
one female; one Jewish, one non-Jewish - gave them a common
vision, and called them as a couple to teach the Word and
minister the love of God in a Jewish way. They began the ministry
of "Love Song to the Messiah" in 1978 to share the Good
News with the Jewish people and to teach the Church about its
Jewish roots. Their ministry now includes Marriage Retreats,
Ladies Retreats and a half hour weekly Messianic Jewish
television program called Jewish Jewels, as well as a Messianic/Judaica Bible Bookstore that has become a lighthouse
for Yeshua in South Florida."
This is definitely a dangerous website,
not least because of its name (which is the only thing 'Jewish'
about it!) It's too bad that we can't flush this site down the
toilet (there's so much crap here that it's likely to block the
plumbing.) Whichever of them is Jewish is nothing but a traitor
and needs to be reminded that he/she took the wrong path and,
what is worse, is attempting to lure others to follow. We suggest
that you do what they suggest and send them an e-mail to share
your thoughts.

Quoted from this site "It's been observed that most Jewish
people don't believe in Jesus. Some people conclude that such
disbelief is a contrary stubbornness in the face of evidence.
That is unfair and untrue thinking!"
Messianic Rabbi Loren Jacobs uses this

really bothers me.
Messianic
Jewish Online Organization
Quoted from the website "Many Messianic Gentiles wonder
if they should convert to Judaism. Hannah Rychlik explains why
conversion is not necessary to fulfill the LORD's Torah, as well
as the dangers of falling away from Yeshua."
Wrong! Conversion is neccessary to
fullfill the LORD's Torah, pure and simple

Links hadavar@juno.com
This is a page of Messianic links put online by 'Hadavar' who graces the
pages of JWD
This site is definitely something to
worry about. Not only does it have specifically messianic links
but it has a section called "Movements of Judaism"
which includes MESSIANIC among the others (and the other links,
such as to OU and USCJ, are legitimate!!)
Music From Israel contact@musicfromisrael.com
HATAKLIT (established 1963) is one of Israel's best known and
most favored sources of excellent music. Its CEO, Dov Zeira, was
one of the founding members of "The Gevatron," the
Israeli Kibbutz Folk Singers, which is Israel's most famous
performing group. Dov's insistence on producing wholesome, high
quality music has earned him the unofficial title "King of
Israeli Folk Music." Many renowned performers took their
first step toward stardom through Dov's office door. His
inclusion of locally produced Christian (Messianic) Music proves
his pluralistic and benevolent attitude towards different
cultures and faiths. He has helped launch universally known hits
such as Kadosh and Le?Ma?an Tsion, opening the way for many
nations to enjoy the unique sound of the Israeli Song.
You know their should be a law against
Messianics and Israel in the same sentence. Beware of this site,
although much of the much is Jewish, Israeli etc...etc... it is
coming from a Messianic website and JWD wants you to be aware of
that. You know the email address you know what to do!
Shaddai.com jay@shaddai.com
This is a branch site for Jewish Jewels (which has a separate
alert) as well as the home page for a 'messianic synagogue' whose
purpose is to give instruction. Here is a quote from their
mission statement: "[The site] is made up of Jews and
Gentiles who feel that their mission is to try to make this
information freely available to their fellow believers. Not just
from a traditional point of view, but from the position that it's
much easier to understand the teachings of Moshe (Moses), Yeshua
(Jesus), and Sha'ul (Paul) if we place their advice and comments
in the context of their "Jewishness."
Although, they want to 'instruct' Jews
as well as gentiles, particularly in the 'real meanings' of
holiday celebration rituals, they specifically want this
information available to Christians without a Jewish background,
particularly Church leaders, so that they can more effectively
work with Jews. The fact that these people claim enough knowledge
of Jewish rituals to instruct others is a sign of how very
dangerous they are.

This information is splayed all over the front page. In the
wilderness, a voice cries out: "Prepare the way of the

Make level a highway in the Aravah (desert) for our God! Isaiah

A change from the usual alerts presented
by JWD but I felt that it is as bad to be fooled into purchasing
products (especially Jewish Religious products) from Messianic
groups, especially when they hide behind a name as ambiguous as
shoars.org.
