right, against a humiliating and brutal occupation. These protests have been met
with deadly force, both in the occupied territories and inside Israel. There
have been ten Bloody Sundays in a row." "Deliberately aiming at the
heads and upper bodies of unarmed demonstrators with live ammunition, and using
rockets and helicopter gunships against them is a gross violation of the Geneva
Conventions."
From what I have
seen of this guys website he does a number on the truth. He twists it, wrenches
it, skews it, and well totally rearranges it to fit the usual 'Palestinian'
hogwash. He never (from what I have seen) backs any of his statements up with
fact, but then I forgot, that is their way isn't it. The difference is this guy
writes letters countering articles written, especially ones that are the least
bit fair or pro-Israel.

often calls them. "Muslims did not ask us to give up our
ideals and values. On the contrary, it is the West which does not
honor these very ideals when dealing with Muslims and
Islam." and "I was deeply shocked that people could
call other people 'dirty Arabs' when some 30 or 40 years before
they had talked in Europe about 'dirty Jews'. "The West has
to share a responsibility for what is happening in the Middle
East. If it had not persecuted the Jews, there would not have
been the need for the creation of the State of Israel." and
"I don't think people sit at home and read the Qur'an and
say, yes, I must go and bomb Israel. This is not how religion
works, and I see just absolute hopelessness when people have
nothing to lose. Palestinians don't have F- 16s, and they don't
have tanks. They don't have anything to match Israel's arsenal.
They only have their own bodies." Well that is enough for
me.

article. I completely agree with Mr. Falkson that Armstrong has
fallen hook, line, and sinker for the so-called 'palestinian' spew

It is a gross
misuse of power (and a criminal offense) when a teacher uses his position of
authority to gain sexual favors from his students. It is just as despicable
(but, unfortunately, quite legal) to use your authority to 'rape' the truth of
what you are teaching, yet that is exactly what Joel Beinin has done and
CONTINUES TO DO! Not only that, but his blatant distortions of the truth (to the
point where there IS no truth at all in what he says, is evident in everything
that he writes or speaks). It is a disgrace that Stanford allows this to
continue; indeed this individual is actually rewarded with multiple grants and
awards from both the university AND ISRAEL!! (Just check his bio page for a
list.)

BLITZER The
anchor of CNN's Wolf Blitzer Reports (a nightly newscast) and the host of Late
Edition with Wolf Blitzer has frequently allowed Arab mouthpieces such as Saeb
Erekat and Hanan Ashwari, to freely spew lies and rhetoric without ever
questioning their sources. [One example of this is from an interview with Hanan
Ashwari about a possible Gaza retaliation for the Rishon Lezion bombing:
Speaking for the Palestinians, Palestinian legislator Hanan Ashrawi told CNN
Sunday [May 12]: 'What we need right now is a political program, which Israel
lacks, that says they are willing to deal with the imperatives of peace in a
responsible way, and that they're not going to go on bashing and battering the
Palestinians into submission, that's not going to happen. The occupation is a
source of violence that has to stop,' Ashrawi said. (verify

[Blitzer
made no response to Ashwari; he immediately went into the 'Nativity' situation.]
He has the
responsibility to ask 'the tough questions' and we must remind him of that.

another classic example of misinformation. "In 1993 Palestinians entered

to deny anyone their view but we do insist that it conform to actual historical
fact and not just be about blaming the Jewish people/Israel for everything. So

..."'Citizens of Israel, the state of Israel is at war - a war against
terror,' thundered Ariel Sharon in his Sunday address to the nation. But
Sharon's rage and resolve notwithstanding, Israel is not at war with terror.
Israel is at war with Palestine." as well as "Michael Collins used
terror to bring into being an Irish Free State. Menachem Begin blew up the King
David Hotel to drive the British out of Palestine. The Mau Mau used terror to
run the British out of Kenya. Nelson Mandela's ANC used terror to overthrow
white minority rule in South Africa, as did Mugabe in Rhodesia. The FALN used
terror to drive the French out of Algeria. Islamists used terror to run the
Marines out of Lebanon. And Islamic Jihad, Hamas and the Al Aqsa Brigades are
using terror to drive the Israelis off the West Bank and out of Gaza."

If it isn't bad
enough this slimeball was twice a candidate for the Republican Presidential
nomination (but not surprising), the Reform Party candidate in 2000, or served
three Presidents in the White House, now we have to listen to and read his crap
online. Mr. Buchanan contradicts himself badly in this article (perhaps he needs
a speech writer) by saying out of one side of his mouth that the state of Israel
is not at war against terror but at war against 'Palestine' and then out of the
other side of his mouth, in the same article, he says Islamic Jihad, Hamas and
the Al Aqsa Brigades are using terror to drive the Israelis off the West Bank
and out of Gaza. This man knows better than to hype the Arab rhetoric but he is
a Republican after all. The e-mail address above should get to him so let him
know he is a putz and accomplishing nothing by printing this crap! His website
is again set up to support his run for the presidency in 2004.

By John C. LaMonte. e has the nerve to talk of "truth" and openly spew
forth nothing but lies on his radio program "Middle East in Focus" (KPFK
FM 90.7 in CA.) He certainly is not ambiguous about his prejudices; his Nov.
20th broadcast opened with the statement: "Voices that speak out about the
injustices perpetrated by the Israelis upon the Palestinians are almost never
heard in our mainstream media. The Israeli establishment doesn't want Americans

political leverage here in the U.S. to suppress such coverage in our major

Not only is Mr.
Bustany dangerous because of his twisted and outspoken views of the Middle East
conflict and hatred of the Jewish people, he gives air time to other biased
people who have also shown themselves to be enemies of Israel (such as Nigel
Parry.) who is also showcased on JWD.

'Wrong Turn' 'Signals''War'

incendiary role of Ariel Sharon, leader of Israel's right-wing Likud party. It's
generally agreed that Sharon "sparked" the latest cycle of violence
when he visited Jerusalem's Temple Mount on September 28. But as of last week,
the media had largely left him behind closed doors. Two Times stories October 9
only mentioned in passing the fact that Sharon wants to be foreign minister. And
on October 12, when Barak announced his plan to form a new government, most
reporters seemed blind to the power play at hand. Instead, editorialists ganged
up to make Arafat the bogeyman. The Washington Post was diplomatic in its
editorial of October 13, saying, "If [Sharon] hoped by means of his
provocative visit to the Temple Mount to undermine [the peace process], he has
succeeded. But he has succeeded only because Yasser Arafat made it so. Mr.
Arafat did not simply refuse to call off . . . the riots; he actively and
deliberately stoked them." The Times October 13 editorial echoed the
lesser-of-two-evils scenario. "As angry as he appeared yesterday,"
said the Times, "Mr. Barak seems prepared to do what he can to halt the
bloodshed. Mr. Arafat has shown no such inclination in recent days, even though
everyone knows that he can break the cycle of conflict." One exception to
the Arafat-bashing came from The Wall Street Journal, whose October 13
international page delivered a sharp analysis of Sharon, under the headline
"An Old Soldier Who Isn't Fading Away." It noted that Sharon failed to
prevent the massacre of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon in 1982. But top honors
go to CNN's Amanpour, who posed tough questions to Barak. Having pointed out
that "there is no parity whatsoever" between the firepower of the
Israeli army and the Palestinian civilians, she challenged the view that the
Palestinians are solely responsible for the escalating violence. Barak responded
with a classic denial: "We are not creating the provocation." But it
was another answer that resonated loudest, inviting viewers to draw their own
conclusions. When Amanpour repeated Arafat's claim that Israel had declared war
on the West Bank, Barak sputtered, "That's nonsense, bullshit, and
propaganda."
Cotts has an
extremely big mouth and although we could have quoted many different articles

Farrakhan's words
are blatantly anti-Jewish/anti-Israeli, vomit-inducing rhetoric. The only thing
that makes them different from someone like Arafat (or Arafart as Garry and I
like to refer to him) is that he is using some unusual material in his rantings
(we haven't heard much about"Jesus-stoning" lately; he obviously sees
himself as Jesus (odd for a born-again Muslim, don't you agree?) However, his
quotes could still be easily listed on nearly every page on the JWD. He is a
VERY dangerous man whose uses his ministry to reach large numbers of people and
he is accepted at his own evaluation as an authority on everything.

Fisk is the news editor for the Independent, a British paper whose entire
editorial philosophy is anti-Israel. He's been using that position to vilify
Israel and the Jewish people for over 20 years. Despite all the evidence that
Arab terrorists often mask as 'civilians', he automatically gave the impression
of callousness on the part of soldiers towards innocents in his account. "I
walked round the corner of a building to the little lawn upon which they were
being questioned. A soldier was putting a new pair of cuffs on one of the
kneeling men. Another Palestinian was repeatedly bowing his head before a door
and his shoulders moved as if he was weeping.None of it worried the soldiers. In
their own unique "war on terror", these prisoners were
"terrorists". Indeed, another soldier eating a plate of greens said
that he thought "all the people down there" were
"terrorists"."
Robert Fisk uses
his correspondent card to vilify Israel and the Jewish people through his ultra
pro-Arab ranting; he's done so for two decades. He uses newspapers such as the Independent
as his personal sounding board, with no regard for decency, let
alone truth.

This week, another columnist exhibited distain for democracies. Syndicated
columnist Georgie Anne Geyer criticized both U.S. and Israeli elected officials:
"In Eyes of World, U.S. Is Responsible for Israeli Policies,"
published May 9 by Universal Press Syndicate. Geyer writes:..."Look at
the Congress. Apparently they have become so 'Sovietized' by their dependence
upon the Israeli connection that they can do nothing but pass more and more
resolutions praising Ariel Sharon." A couple other Geyer gems from
other articles are ..."Look at U.S. television: One minute, you see
pro-Israeli ads saying the Arabs are all dogs..." and "In fact,
it [American support for Israel's actions] led Prime Minister Sharon to tell his
Cabinet recently, "I control America."" ... of both quotes
were complete fabrications.
Here is a perfect
example of hoof in mouth disease, perhaps she should stay away from interviewing
guerillas! Apparently, she's spent so much time with horrible people she
can't distinguish among good and evil any more. These are all 'people' she
has interviewed: Yasser Arafat, Shimon Peres, the Ayatollah Khomeini, Anwar
Sadat, Saddam Hussein, Moammar Gadhafi, Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Eduard
Shevardnadze, Juan Peron, Prince Sihanouk and American Presidents Carter, Ford,
Bush, Reagan and Bush. She doesn't have a listed e-mail address but you

letter to Arafat
Jackson shows his total inability to see reality. How could any reasonable
person speak about 'non-violence' with a man who embodies the concept of
terrorism. Yet, Jackson continues to separate the 'cause' of the Arabs
from what they claim to want (their own state) and what you actually want
(the destruction of Israel.) Here is an excerpt: "Non-violence is
not passive suffering. It is an action strategy. It actively resists repression.
It actively challenges the occupier. It actively disrupts business as usual.
Non-violence is not a coward's path. Non-violent demonstrators must face anger,
violent responses, beatings, jailing and worse - and be disciplined enough to
not respond in kind. For the Palestinians, non-violence may be the only road to
statehood now. It will demonstrate the nobility of your people, and the justice
of your cause. It will win you greater support across the world. It will raise
hope among your enemies and lower their fears. It will strengthen the voices of
peace and decency in Israel, and isolate the voices of hatred. Non-violent
resistance will make it impossible for Sharon to sustain his assassination
policy, his no-talk policy, his settlements policy. Over two decades ago, we met
and I asked you what you wanted to build. You said then as you say now that you
seek "real freedom and complete independence in the state of Palestine,
with Jerusalem as its capital." You said then that you did not want to
drive Israel into the sea. I urged you then to speak clearly about Israel's
right to exist, that surely was a precondition for international support of
Palestine's right to independence. Now, I urge you to go a step further. To turn
the passions of your people to bold, non-violent protest and resistance. I
assure you it will hasten the achievement of the goal that you have pursued all

he understands (or cares) that Arafat never kept any of his empty promises from
that meeting. Now he is going to meet with a known terrorist! Why not just
invite this Hamas terrorist over for tea and while he is there he can plan a few
suicide bombings for the cameras and International press, between scones! This
man deserves a special idiot award and JWD is going to make sure you all know
what he is up to!

as a reference. This report of the latest homicide bombing in Israel goes beyond
biased; the woman is devoid of human compassion!. With the bus' metal frame
still smoldering, MacVicar 'report' portrayed the passengers using public
transportation as radicals (as if that would excuse the horror of these
teenagers being blown to smithereens - THERE WERE ONLY BODY PARTS LEFT!) "The
beginning of the bus route, Gilo," she told the world, [is what]
"...the Palestinians call an illegal settlement."
How could any
person with a spark of human feeling use that as justification for the barbaric
murders that occurred after an overcrowded bus of young people -- some as young
as 12! -- lost their lives? I hope the shining spirits of those innocents haunt
her and her CNN colleagues for the rest of their lives. This has got to come to
a stop. Email CNN and let them know that this desecration of the memories of
innocents will not be tolerated in silence.

Board of Deputies of British Jews is considering making a complaint to the
police over a newspaper interview with the poet Tom Paulin in which he is
reported as saying that American-born settlers in Israel should be shot dead.

this... "A British forensic expert who has gained access to the West Bank
city of Jenin says evidence points to a massacre by Israeli forces. Prof Derrick
Pounder, who is part of an Amnesty International team granted access to Jenin,
said he has seen bodies lying in the streets and received eyewitness accounts of
civilian deaths. The Dundee University expert said the Amnesty investigation has
only just begun but Palestinian claims of a massacre were gaining foundation as
the team continued its analysis. He said: "The truth will come out, as it
has come out in Bosnia and Kosovo, as it has in other places where we've had
these kinds of allegations."
Notice how in one
sentence he states he 'gained access to Jenin' and in the next 'was granted
access to Jenin'. Typical Arab style rhetoric! Neither the BBC nor Pounder
delivered retractions or apologies after the so called "Jenin
Massacre" was found to be a myth. As long as the BBC remains a haven for
pro-Arab rhetoric the watch dog will keep one eye pointed in their direction. I
cannot find an email for Pounder but you can send an email to his bosses at
Amnesty and let them know what you think.

Prof. Sari Nusseibeh, president of "Al-Quds University" and the
Palestinian Authority's holder of the Jerusalem portfolio has been singled out
by many in the West and in Israel as a moderate with whom Israel could make
peace. In fact there was significant international pressure on Israel to reopen
his offices at the university recently because he is seen as a moderate.
However, the term "moderate" is vague and misleading. Is he a moderate
by Western standards - openly rejecting terrorism, promoting peace and
reconciliation with Israel through negotiations? Or is he "moderate"
only relative to terrorist organizations like Hamas, and the Palestinian
Authority, which has been openly promoting terrorism?

Spend a little
time at the university website and soon it will be plain to see that Prof. Sari
Nusseibeh is not a friend of the Jews or Israelis and you will clearly see that
his allegiance to Jihad and his vision of a Palestine that doesn't include
Israel or any Jewish people is simmering just under the surface. This is indeed
a dangerous man!

Weltner really spreads the hate around on that show; he not only attacks Jews,
but also has it in for Blacks, Latinos, and anyone else who isn't

Maybe he should consider suing the University of Missouri for libel since they
are the original source. Of course, he would need evidence -- a diploma
would be nice -- which will cause him some trouble since there is no record of
him ever receiving one.
For the record, Weltner's claim to being a "librarian" is the basis
for his "credentials" to run JewWatch as a library -- which is
what he calls it now. Even if he does have the "18+ hours of library
science" (reported in his bio) which, given his record for telling things
as he wants them to be rather than as they are, is highly unlikely, it does
NOT make him a "librarian". Use of the title
"librarian" requires the attainment of a Master of Library

This is yet more proof that the collection of garbage known as JewWatch is NOT a
library as he claims! We didn't bother to use quotes pointing out the lies
on that site because EVERYTHING on that site is a fabrication. So, take
your pick; you'll find lies on every link.
Since ALL of Weltner's statements about Jews and their history on his
vile site, JewWatch, are gross distortions or outright fiction, (one other thing
he is NOT is a "scholar of Jewish history" -- yet another false claim
in his bio), it is not surprising that he and his followers have difficulty in
recognizing the truth when they read it on the Jewish Watch Dog. It is
interesting, however, that among all Weltner's supposed academic credentials
that he lists on his bio, he failed to list the academic institution at which he
became a "Jewish scholar".
We are pleased that we had this opportunity to update this alert. So, we
want to thank Frank Weltner for bringing these points to our attention so we
could bring you the latest evidence of his lies. Anyone who would like to
pursue this matter, should contact us as we have lots more evidence that didn't
make it onto the website because of space limitations.
This is definitely
one man JWD would like to see locked up in a little white padded room for a long
time. He calls himself "Couch Potato"; here's hoping his site
