These ALERTS are to bring to your attention universities, colleges, professors, educators etc... who openly distort history through their teachings. JWD feels very strongly that all students should be taught the truth and not what some perceive the truth to be. For this reason this category has been created and it is sure to fill up fast unfortunately.
If you would like to contribute a link please send email with as much relevant information as possible to jwd-jewishwatchdog@comcast.net and we will research the link as soon as possible. If it fits the requirements at JWD it will be added to the site.

Sanctions against the
General Union of Palestine Students (GUPS) for actions at the May 7 rally that
violated procedures and guidelines for rallies/demonstrations. GUPS has been put
on probation for one year, losing its funding and its Web site for the year and
facing stronger sanctions in case of future violations of rally rules or the
student code of conduct.
Congratulations to everyone who (in some way) helped to shut down this site. The
alert will remain so that we may monitor it and make sure it doesn't pop back
up!
What is on this
site is incredibly sickening. This is hate speech at it's ugliest; it's
anti-Israel/anti-Jewish rhetoric beyond vile. In fact, it is a smear campaign
like few others; its peers include such known hate groups as Stormfront and the
Aryan Nation. We will be firing off a letter to the university as soon as we
stop being nauseated and write one and we suggest that you do the same. This
HATE site must be removed.

"We are a group of Harvard and MIT faculty and students who have convened
recently to attempt to bring into the open a critical discussion of Israeli
human rights abuses against Palestinians. We are collecting faculty, student,
and staff signatures on a petition (modelled after a similar petition by the
Princeton faculty) asking Harvard and MIT to divest from Israel until the rights
of Palestinians are respected. As of May 10, a total of 117 MIT and Harvard
faculty have signed."
If this is a
sample of the intellectual quality at one of the, supposedly, finest
universities in the world, we are all in deep trouble! (The only reason I didn't
write something like, "Those scum-eating, festering slime who support the
murderers of innocents" was to keep my own 'intellectual' quality at a
higher level than theirs.)
