Pro-'Palestinian' Rhetoric is Simply
Anti-Semitism in Disguise

"The only thing that does appear to matter to some Europeans is that, according to their views, the rights of Arab-Palestinians who left their homeland 53 years ago are fundamentally superior to the rights of Jews who left their homeland almost 2,000 years ago." [Steinitz]

Unfortunately, many Americans (including some members of the PNEWS forum) are also blinded by 'pro-Palestinian' rhetoric and are consequently denying Israelis the very rights that they are championing for others. They refuse to recognize that pro-'Palestinian' rhetoric is simply anti-Semitism in disguise.

In point of fact, it's not only homes left 2000 years ago that we are talking about; many Jews were REALLY forced out of their homes in Samaria, Judea and East Jerusalem - the area now known as the West Bank (as opposed to leaving at the request of their leaders as a political ploy) prior to 1948 because of Jordan's military forces.

The existence of the Palestinian state of Jordan on adjacent land to the State of Israel has represented a danger to Israel since it was formed! The PLO, founded and headed by Arafat, which has been devoted to the total destruction of Israel from its inception (AND IT HASN'T CHANGED)
established its terrorist operations under the auspices of the Jordanian government and on territory occupied by Jordan.

Unlike Israel, whose leaders created a viable provisional government BEFORE the establishment of the State because their aim and purpose was BUILDING; the only 'government' the Arabs in Israel have is concerned with DESTRUCTION, not little details such as infrastructure. Their supporters are also not working on helping to build a viable government. In fact, many of these supporters are so determined to hold Israel responsible for
everything that they expect Israel to not only allow another state in its midst, but actually to create one and run it! Indeed, most of their 'supporters' would drift away if Israel no longer existed and the
'palestinians' became no different from the millions of other Arabs (as long as the mistreatment is done by their own leaders and not those impossible Jews, few people give a damn.)

Some of the 'palestinians' loudest supporters have blamed Israel's 'lack of cooperation' for the failure of the peace talks and the continuation of the Intifada (the article is in Christianity Today
http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2001/006/17.22.html): "Israel's recent offers to the Palestinians to relinquish 80 to 90 percent of the West Bank and parts of Jerusalem, however far-reaching, didn't go far enough. Israel failed to offer a blueprint for a viable Palestinian state or a realistic plan dealing with the claims of 4 million Palestinian refugees living in the Arab world."

If Americans want to help dispossessed people, let them work for the Native Americans who were truly FORCED off their own land and still suffer the effects of the deliberate destruction of their culture. The Native Americans are not demanding their original lands with the ultimatum of more murders and not one of them is using their losses as an excuse to set off bombs, which kill multitudes of people who never did them any harm. (And, in case anyone wonders, yes, I do support them.) Now, there is a just cause for all people who truly care about 'human rights.'
