Bangalore is the closest major International Airport, Mumbai (Bombay) is your next option. There are domestic flights to Mangalore (Bajpe Airport) from both Bangalore and Mumbai (Bombay). Mangalore is about 60 kms (37 miles) from Udupi.
There is a train station in Udupi which is connected to Mangalore in the South and Goa and Mubai in the North. The Konkan Railway, does have trains from Bombay to Mangalore and stops in Udupi. Mangalore is connected by direct daily express from Bombay, Bangalore and other major cities in South and Central India.
There are heaps of buses between Udupi and major South Indian cities. Buses are the fastest transportation. Trains are considerably safer. Once in Udupi, Kadiyali is only about 5 kms away on the way to Manipal.
