Artist Residency at Roswell Artist-in-Residence
Program, NM, Fall 2009
Film screening & workshop, Bowling Green State University,
September 17-18, 2009
Delaware College of Art and Design, Wilmington, Delaware, November/December
2009.
Group exhibition focusing on animation. The film Twist of Fate
will be shown, along with original pastel & colored pencil
drawings used to make the film.
In 2008, Aqua’s work (pastel drawings and animation) was included
in 2 group exhibitions at the Nave Gallery in Somerville,
MA.
One of her large “animated quilt” pieces was purchased by the Anderson Museum of Contemporary
Art in Roswell, NM, where it now hangs in the permanent collection.
Two of Aqua’s films are included in the permanent collection of
the Institute of Contemporary
Art (Boston).

RECENT TEACHING RESIDENCIES/WORKSHOPS:
Somerville (MA) Community
Access Television: community adult workshops, 2008 & 2009.
Creative Learning
Center/Roswell, NM: Worked with 5th and 3rd grade students
to create the film “Roswell: Not Just Aliens!” 2008.
This film won 1st Prize, Student Category - Age 12 and under, Kalamazoo Animation Festival
International, 2009.
Sheridan Filmmakers,
Sheridan, WY: One-week residency hosted by the Ucross Foundation.
The film “Branded!” was created during this community
workshop. 2008.
The MacDowell Colony,
Peterborough, NH: Peterborough Project. The film “In
the Shadows of Monadnock” was created with the seventh grade
class at Mountain Shadows School, Dublin, NH. 2007. |
