Here I am in the emergency room getting an infusion of a broad spectrum antibiotic. I had a fever so my mom and dad had to bring me to the ER at CHOP. Since my ANC is over 1000, I can go home, but not until after they monitor my heart and blood pressure for a while after I get my medicine. We were here for 7 hours and didn't get home until 4:00am!!! Staying up late isn't what its all cracked up to be!!! | |||||||||||||

| Here I am with my nurse in recovery at the day hospital at the oncology clinic. I just had my spinal tap and chemo to my central nervous system. They gave me sleepy juice in my tubies, so I slept through the procedure. After I lay flat for 20-30 minutes, I can sit up and I get to eat my Graham crackers and watch TV while my nurse gives me my IV chemo. |  |
