What is a fanlisting?  [I hear you asking]   Well, the TFL definition states a fanlisting is "...a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject."  Easy enough.   If that sentence is too long and confuses you, a fanlisting is basically a place where people can show their love for whatever the topic is, and they do so by joining a members list.  *shrugs* onto bigger and better things ...

Now about MY fanlisting ... those that know me know that I love PotC and anything pertaining to it.  In my opinion, the soundtrack is the best I've ever heard.   In fact, when people ask me what my favorite music is [and they're talking about my favorite NORMAL music lol, like Usher or something...], I answer with "the Pirates soundtrack".  It's amazing ... the best.  Anyway, about the song:

'Barbossa Is Hungry' is my absolute favorite song on the soundtrack.  It's the 7th song on the CD, and is 4 minutes and 6 seconds long.  It plays during the 'ship chase' scene.  The song begins after Barbossa says, "Lock him in the brig."  As soon as Bo'sun's hand comes down on Jack's shoulder, the song starts.  It finishes after Elizabeth yells, "Fire all!"  When the first goes off, the song ends.

The name for this fanlisting, Element of Surprise, comes from the part during the song when Elizabeth says, "Lower the anchor on the right side.  On the starboard side!" and Will replies with, "It certainly has the element of surprise."  I also think that the only to truly to defeat Barbossa is with the 'element of surprise' ... so that's where our name is from.
