Greetings and Salutations to all of the snow & ice bound chemists out there!

Obviously, today's lab will not take place as scheduled. It will be rescheduled at a later date. However, if you were scheduled for lab today, Feb. 22nd, then you will still need to turn your pre-labs in during next class time, on Tuesday, Feb. 26th.

A Block: Pre-labs will be due on Tuesday and you will still be held responsible for the textbook reading assignment. Expect to write about that material.

B Block: You will be doing the lab as originally scheduled on Monday. The textbook reading assignment which was due today will be due on Monday along with the lab. Be prepared to write about the reading assignment prior to starting the lab work.

E Block: The scheduled quiz on the Potential Energy Well will be combined with the reading assignment in the textbook. In other words, be prepared to take a quiz on the PE Well along with the information on ionic and covalent bonding.

F Block: The textbook reading assignment is still due on Monday. You should be prepared for a quiz that covers that information.

Somebody from the B block, please go to the Wiki and enter the term "stereospecificity" along with an appropriate explanation. Somebody from any section please go to the Wiki and enter any of the following terms with explanations: Harmonic Oscillation, Bond Motivation, Bond Mechanism, Polar Bond, Nonpolar Bond, deflagration spoon, and Standard Preparation of Oxygen.

Finally, there are two Forum Questions on Moodle. I strongly urge everybody to look at those two questions and contribute your thoughts to the group.
