Some fun places to visit,
friends of mine, among other things...

Here you'll find some interesting sites, some fun stuff, places I recommend to buy photography equipment, etc...   I only put links here I highly recommend and have used myself.  Enjoy!  -Dan

One of my favorite magazines.
The only trouble I have is some of the writers preach about "not disturbing the wildlife" while they build 100ft. scaffolds next to a nest, and admit somewhere in the article that it took them weeks for the birds to get used to them enough to take these spectacular photographs.  I find that ironic, but maybe that's me.

Pittsfield, MA. This is the company that runs the Closer Look at the Berkshires Calendar Contest. It's here where I got my break into nature photography.

One of the companies I buy from frequently.  Their UPS Ground always seems to come the very next day (though I do live only a 4 hr drive from NYC, so it's not like they're shipping it thousands of miles...)

Another photo company I do business with.  Virtually the same prices and service as B&H - I've never had a problem with either of them, so take your pick based on what you see on their websites, is my guess.

Another camera/photo dealer - I haven't ordered from them for a while, but I normally get all my bulk slide film from them. Great buys, lots of enlarging equipment last I checked - though for those of you who may never have used an enlarger - it probably won't ever matter.

Life Coaching, Helot African Oil, and a whole slew of good books by my friend Seth Kerin.

Get the original works by the next great fantasy genre writer (and beyond) now, and you can say "I read his books way back when before he was a NY Times bestseller."

A very informative photo magazine I subscribe to. Lots of how-to's, but geared more for the digital photographer.  Me being more of a photography purist, I dont' really like how Photoshop-dependent they are, but that's just my opinion.. (and it doesn't keep me from buying the magazine...)

Have a nice day!
