ALERT!!!  CLASS LINEUP CHANGE

As of August 26:  Leslie's new Thursday morning beginner class is back at the Bindeman site.  The starting time is 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 PM.
Schedule for Fall Semester - September 2008

You will need to check back to this site in early September to see if there have been changes (additional sites, cancelled sites, or changes of dates or times).   Don't forget, you need to click on "refresh" to make your computer see all the updates since your last visit.  THIS IS IMPORTANT!!

Tuition Payments:
I would suggest you start sending in your tuition fees around mid-August.  If the class you select instructs you to send your registration to Leslie, please make sure you write on the memo line of your check which class you are registering for along with your telephone number in case of any questions.  Write me a short note if you are taking more than one class.

If you prefer to pay as a "drop in" (i.e., attending only four classes) the fee per class is slightly higher ($25 per attendance).  Students paying the full tuition fee get free makeups of anything they missed and a cheaper rate per class.

All UMC, WCCC and Somerset classes, please send tuition directly to:  Leslie Shafer, 331 Market Street East, #154, Gaithersburg, MD  20878.

All other locations (Bindeman, JCC, Oasis, Chevy Chase Club) you must register directly with those sites (all contact info is listed below).

Advanced Level

Magic Hands!  New Material!!
A variety of lesson hands by world famous bridge author Eddie Kantar.  We refer to these hands as "A-ha!!" deals.  They cover bidding, play and defense techniques for the advancing player.  Many of our students credit this course for helping them think more logically about their decision-making in bridge.  It is an amazing class.  Experience level needed is above average intermediate or advanced.  Prepare to play, play, play (7-8 hands per lesson) and also be challenged and amazed.  8 weeks.  Fridays 10 am - Noon.  Starting September 12.  Location: UMC*.   Cost $150.  To register, send your tuition directly to Leslie Shafer, 331 Market Street East, #154, Gaithersburg, MD  20878.
