How long will my
item be for sale on eBay?
In most cases, 2KIMS
lists an item for a seven day auction. In some cases, we will list for a
one-day, three-day or five-day auction if needed (i.e., event tickets that
need to be sold ASAP).
Are there any price or size restrictions?
We only accept items
or collections with estimated values of $100 or more. We use USPS and FedEx
Ground for shipping items and will arrange for local pickup on larger
items.
Can I
set the minimum starting price on my auction?
Just like a live auction, you will usually
get a higher final price if you get a lot of bids. This creates excitement
and can involve hundreds of eBay bidders. All auctions start at $9.99. In our
experience, along with proven eBay statistics, lower starting prices
result in a higher final sales price because there are more bidders.
Although we strive for the highest bid price, we are legally required
to sell to the highest bidder.
How can I tell if my item is
worth $150 on eBay? Or, “What it is
worth?”
Just send
us an e-mail describing your item and we will research what it may sell
for on eBay.
What if
my item doesn't sell?
We will automatically relist it after the
initial 7-day auction. If it doesn't sell during the second auction, you
must pick up the item within 7 days after we notify you that the item
didn't sell, or we will donate it to charity.
Who
pays for the shipping?
The buyer pays for all shipping,
handling and insurance charges.
What if a potential buyer has a
question about my item?
We answer
buyers' questions via email. If there is a question we can't answer, we
will contact you. We never give your contact information to potential
buyers.
Will I be able to see the listing on eBay?
Yes. Once your item has been listed, you can see the listing
and follow the auction through our eBay store. When your item
sells we will send you anr email with the final selling
price.
How much will my item sell for?
eBay's greatest strength is that it is the world's
largest market place. The market will determine what your item is worth.
It’s fun to watch the bidding and to see your item go up in
price.
What is the benefit of using

How long does it take to
list?
We strive to have all items photographed,
researched, and listed within 7 days of drop-off or pick-up.
When can I expect to receive my check?
Typically, payments are made to our customers within
14 days of receiving full payment from the buyer. Occasionally a winning
bidder may never pay for your item. In this case, we will cancel the
original auction and relist your item for free.
Do you charge sales tax?
For sales that are made in Virginia to Virginia
residents, 2KIMS collects Virginia sales tax as required by law. This tax
is paid by the buyers of your item(s).

additional services?
