Hi I am Mr.Mead:

I am the Computer Technology teacher at Evergreen.

We offer 3 classes at Evergreen.

  • Technology 1 is for the sixth graders. This class focuses most directly on Keyboarding skills. 
  • Technology 2 is a 7th grade class. This is the introduction to multi media. Students work with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Photoshop, and Macromedia flash. 
  • Technology 3 is for the 8th graders and includes refreshers on the software introduced in seventh grade. The students will also do additional work with Microsoft Word in preparation for the 8th grade big report.

Rules

My Class rules are very simple:

  • Be courteous
  • Do you best
  • Be on time
  • Be prepared

I will always give children warnings for behavior. Serious behavior may need to go straight to the office. Following a warning general or personal, I will assign a detention for 30 minutes after school. I will attempt to contact families at each detention to allow you the opportunity to help in this learning process I only give two detentions per child. After 2 any behavior issues are sent to the office.
