Congratulations to Amanda Higginbotham, who earned a superior plus rating at the Mid-Cities Music
Teachers Assoc. Fall Festival. She also performed in the winners' recital.
WOW! Every student from this studio who competed in UIL Solo and Ensemble contest received
a superior rating and advanced to state competition!! Congratulations to Hannah Pardoe, Cassie Pelton, Lexie Elieson,
Taylor Delaughter, Taylor Vassios, Dana Faris, Nicole Choate, and Victoria Shaw!! At state competition, Dana, Cassie,
and Victoria received superior ratings on their solos, and Lexie and Nicole received a superior on their ensemble.
Kristen recently performed with ICT's cast of "Nine" for the DFW Column Awards. "Nine" won 10
awards, including Best Musical.
Congratulations to Dana Faris, who made it through the 3rd audition and into the
area choir. These students made the Region 24 all-region choir: Nicole Choate and Cassie Pelton (alt.). Congratulations
to these all-district choir members: Taylor Vassios, Katie Glidden, and Victoria Shaw.
