Biography:

I have been a voice teacher since 1981 and a vocal performer for more than 40 years. I graduated from the University of Connecticut in Theatre and Music and have taken post-graduate courses in performance and teaching in Los Angeles and New York. My performance experience includes opera, musical theatre and popular music; working with theatre companies and symphony orchestras across the country. I’ve been teaching in the Seattle area since 1990, including vocal classes at Lake Washington Technical College and was staff voice teacher at Strom Jewish Community Center on Mercer Island for 3 years. I am also on the “approved teacher” list at Bellevue Community College. For 11 years, I was a member of and arranger for the award-winning vocal trio ACappella-Go!, which performed in the Northwest and Europe. I have been an adjudicator for the Fifth Avenue Musical Theatre "Rising Stars" program, which recognizes outstanding high school performers. Presently, I maintain a full teaching schedule and perform in musical theatre and concerts in the greater Seattle area. I'm a member of the Seattle Opera chorus and most recently performed the role of "Diva" with Teatro Zinzanni in Seattle.
