This site contains the first 4 generations of my Landefeld Family Tree I hope to have the next 2 generations on soon. To protect the privacy of living individuals, I will not post information on living individuals. Every effort has been made to ensure that the information on this site is true and accurate. If you have any questions, corrections,additions or picture please contact me. Because Landefeld is not a commom name in Germany or the United States, it is likely all Landefelds are related. If you have ANY Landefeld information to contribute, please email me. I am working on an "Unconnected Landefelds" link to list any Landefeld information I may receive, but can't connect to my tree yet. Thank you to the many people that contributed information for this tree. I want to thank my Aunt Nancy and my cousin Jim for all their support, and my husband and daughter for letting me spend so much time on my research. But, I NEVER could have done this without the help of RuthAnn and Richard, my long lost (and now found!) cousins. Thank you both!

This web page contains information on the Landefeld family from various places in Germany, including Oberkaufungen, Neustadt on the Werra, Thurnhosbach, Ehlen, Essen, Katernberg, and Gelsenkirchen.There is even a town in Germany named Landefeld.
My Great Grandparents, Heinrich and Anna, were both Landefelds and although they claimed they weren't related, my research confirms that Schack Christian Landefeld was Great Great Grandfather to both of them. Heinrich and Anna settled in the South Side of Pittsburgh, PA. in the 1880's.

Anna is holding her Grandson Harry Landefeld Jr., my father, born April 17, 1917.
