Republicans are so truth-averse that they won't even let their own Senators state the facts on a situation. Delaware
County GOP activists demanded an apology from Senator Rick Santorum because he plainly pointed to their county as a source
of weakness in President Bush's election night performance.
"The incident throws into public view the raw feelings after another presidential election that showed further erosion
of GOP dominance in the Philly suburbs... The GOP White House ticket lost Delaware Co. by 41K votes, up from 29K in '00, 23K
in '96 and 2.6K in '92." (Hotline, 12/2/04)
PA Republicans nonetheless say their sticking with their strategy.
"We are going to keep doing what we are doing." (Philadelphia Inquirer, 12/2)
Please do! If the GOP keeps up their losing streak in Pennsylvania we may all get more than an apology from Senator Santorum
-- we may very well get a concession speech from him on Election Day 2006. His far-right politics, refusal to report for jury
duty and scandalous treatment of the PA school system and taxpayer funds show that he is out of touch with Pennsylvania...
