It's time for Sen. Rick Santorum to find another job. He clearly puts his own personal value system ahead of subject matter experts, general public opinion and his constituents.

His spotlight-grabbing intervention in the Terri Schiavo case, while using the same trip for fund-raising, was an embarrassment.

In addition, against all public polls to the contrary, his record on environmental issues is atrocious. Anyone caring for the natural world should not be supporting him.

We need someone in Washington who will weigh the facts, accept scientific opinion, listen to constituents other than campaign contributors, and put his own personal agenda aside if need be for the good of the citizenry.
