Well, now we knew why the Euries were so eager to find that crashed courier--they must have tracked it down from orbit and known it was non-human. "Wolf Six to Wolf Two. Good show, Wingfield, take it easy and break contact, take the alien and withdraw to rally point Sheila." I clicked my mike. "Wolf Six to Wolf Daddy. I have a xeno contact situation here, Flash Two, I say again, Xeno Flash Two. Request immediate dustoff for squad Wolf Two at rally point Sheila." My helmet display updated and it looked like we were in good shape. Our mortars were keeping the Euries pinned down, we were the first people in history to have our hands on a xeno--which I figured was going to be beauty for my career--and now it was time to withdraw. Then my flank squads reported.
"Wolf One to Wolf Six, two Eurie combat walkers, look like Type 82's, crossing the river about six hundred meters west. Make that three walkers."
"Wolf Four to Wolf Six, orbital assault craft inbound from the east, don't know what it is but it's big, company lander size or more, but it's like nothing I've ever...looks like it's going to land...uh, boss, it looks like it's heading for Wolf Two."
Now it was definitely time to withdraw.

- Counters for Unleaded StarGrunt. These are in BMP format so you should easily be able to change the unit quality and leadership before printing them. In addition to the counters, you will need to print a log sheet to keep track of casualties and expendable weapons such as IAVR.
The counters should be self-explanatory if you're familiar with SG. Special defenses (ECM, electronic warfare or medic ability) are just above the armor rating. Vehicle size is under the QD/Leadership rating. Special attacks (the Fedayeen close combat bonus, Engineer flamers) have their symbol below the normal attack ratings; those two units also have a mix of personal weapons (assault shotguns in addition to rifles), but I couldn't think of a clear way to represent that. The three Sniper counters are for a single sniper; mark the reverse side of one to show which is the real unit.
